"unfortunately, I had to cancel my order as the model number of the Pearce Grips was incorrect on the website. When I called to cancel the very next morning, I explained the problem and identified the issue so it could be corrected. My order was cancelled w/o any problem. So my rating is solely based on the Custimer Service aspect of being able to cancel. Although, this may well depend upon the time elapsed from the date and time order is placed."

"Not much to be happy about -- They charged my credit card twice for the item I bought. I emailed them twice asking for an explanation and to show me how they intended to prevent that from being done to me and others in the future...They never responded. In addition, the shipping was slower than it should have been."

"It was not any fault of Midwest Hunters but the supplier to them had trouble with their inventory and could not tell me for almost a month if they had the product in stock. No one else had the product so i waited and it was received as advertised. Happy with the product."

"They shipped the correct items in good condition. The website says "In Stock" but for all three of my items that did not mean available for shipping. Took 9 days for the order to arrive at my door and shipping only took 2 days.
I'd do business with them in a pinch but only if places like Midway didn't have everything I needed and time wasn't an issue.
Edit: I also called customer service about order status and they were very polite and honest with the lead time.

"I ordered a puma .45lc rifle off their website. It said it was in stock. They even called and confirmed the order and I was told it would ship in 7 to 10 days.
2 weeks later I get an "order update" email that just says "order confirmed" so I call and they tell me it's been back-ordered. What a bunch of unscrupulous liars!!!!

"I bought a kit Archangel Marauder Ruger 10/22 and the it cames without some parts. MIDWEST recommended me to be in touch with manufacturer to try to solve this problem. This maybe be not a MIDWEST OUTLET fault but the manufacturer didn`t return my email and I`m still with enjoy my purchase. I expected more action from MIDWEST to solve it."

"I purchased an inflatable sleeping bag pad. The price was very good.
The whole shipping process on the other hand is ridiculously slow. I placed my order over a weekmini ago. I needed this pad for a camping trip this weekend. The status on the order still shows it as being processed and not even shipped yet.
I tried calling the company about 4 days after I orderedfinish to see what a product hasn't shipped yet and find out if they were simply out of stock. This would have given me enough time to just order 1 off of amazon.com
I couldn't get ahold of a real person and oddly the message address its own company as a different company providing a different service then product sales with no options to speak with anyone about my purchases.
The site ever type of their business hours until 8 pm in the phone message stated they were open on lan till 5 p m... it sounds like it's an entirely different company. I would not recommend this site if you need something within a month. Although I may not recommended at all if I never receive my product.

"I liked the web site and the ease of ordering. They also had what I was looking for. The downfall was that it has been a week and still don't have what I ordered. I called the customer service and they told me that it could take up to 12 to 14 business days for 4 fishing lures they said they had on the web site. This is much to long. if they could get there shipping department a little better then it would have been 5 stars across the board."

"Placed an order for an "in-stock" item on 10/12/11. Called Steve in CS on 10/19 - "They should be coming in, will ship by 10/21". Called Jason 11/2 - "Should receive in 7-10 days". Hit my credit card on 11/7, so I thought it was out the door, per their policy. Called 11/16 and talked to Rosanne - "It came in from the vendor (thought it was in stock??), and should ship by the end of the week. They are backed up with so many orders". It will be my last one, that's for sure!!"
