The pc shipped late due to being backed up by other orders. But to offset this they upgraded my shipping to 2 day for free. The machine came as ordered, they did have one problem with my configuration and explained that to me and I had no problem changing it.

I own a restaurant in my hometown, and I know what customer relations means...I'm always comping someone's food to make them happy, hoping that they'll be return customers, and so far, it has worked. This is a similar situation. If I had not received the call today, my original post here would have stood, and it wasn't very nice. But, since the call, I KNOW that Monarchcomputer cares about their relationship with their customers, as I do in my restaurant, and because of that, and their professionalism, I will return.

"This was my second online order from Monarch Computer. I ordered a Logitech MX 510 (blue) from Monarch and set it up for delivery to my employer's address. FedEx goofed and delivered it somewhere else in the area - not even the same street. When FedEx went to retrieve it a few days later, no one could find it. Meanwhile, FedEx didn't even bother to tell me they couldn't find my package, I had to find out by calling them. They tell me that the shipper (Monarch) will be getting reimbursed for the lost package and that I will need to contact them for reshipment. I used Monarch's online help form and had a reshipment set up within a couple of hours - no problems or hassle. I am very pleased with the price, selection, and support I have received from Monarch to date."

"Ordered a mobo/cpu combo preinstalled, but would perfer to have it uninstalled. Preinstalled combo was placed in mobo box which did not fit (cpu,heatsink,fan on the mobo is bigger than the mobo box) kinda cramed in. Some of the minor parts (jumper prongs, caps, etc) were kinda bent but did not send back since it still works. External shipping box was damaged but internal didn't seem to be damaged. What was nice was that a rma and preprinted shipping label was included for fast return if needed. When ordering, the site ask if you want to be added to the mailing list, I picked "no". Now I have monarch ad emails in my inbox all the time. Beware that you will end up with "SPAM" in your email.

Got a call from sterling saying I would be removed from the mailing list and gave number to call back if anything is wrong with the mobo since some of the prongs were bent."

"Purchased custom system. Advertised as 8-13 for production. Actual was 19 days (6 days overdue) before it shipped. Had I known upfront, it would have been a deal breaker.

Once arrived, the system did not work out of the box. System would not boot/post. Had to call techinical support and had to open up the system to reset the bios.

As a first time customer, I was disappointed in both their ability to fulfill the order and the additional effort to get the machine working."

"Monarch does some very important stress testing, component selection etc when you purchase a PC from them. If you have time to do this yourself, great, otherwise, it's a trade off of personal time to actually receiving the PC (8-13 days is their typical turn time).

My PC order was seeming to get behind the 13 day curve, so I shot an email to customer support (was looking likely to be a 16 day order).

DavidF at Monarch replied promptly to my email, put my PC to the front of the stack, labeled it STAT and had it shipped to me two days later, an 11 day total build from order...oh, he also upgraded me to 2 day shipping free of charge. Nice!

Now you can pay $100 bucks up front to get about 5 day quicker turn time, but I took my chances. Glad I did as Monarch's customer support came through with flying colors. Would buy from them again any time."
