"I did quite a bit of research on where to go to for my latest gaming computer. I decided on Monarch after reading many reviews and looking at this site as well. I have to say that I have been quite disappointed with the purchasing experience with Monarch. They state that custom PCs will take between 8 and 13 days to build and ship. I purchased my system on the 8th of March and as I write this on the 1st of April, I still do not have the machine. To make things more aggrivating, I was not communicated with through the entire process unless I initiated the contact. At first, I would email them and get a quick response. After the two week point, they stopped returning the emails I sent, so I had to start calling. I waited on hold on 4 different occasions for something like 15 minutes each time as they checked on the issue. Each time over this last week, three days in all, there was some new issue that was holding up the system in testing. I was spoken to very professionally by a gentle man who explained that they were having issues with their online order update server and that he would personally check on the system and get back with my. He never did. So I had to call back and then got another reason for the delay. They said on four different occasions that the system would ship "by friday". Two weeks in a row they told me this and yet still no system. Finally today, I checked the online system and found out that it did ship yesterday, again, no email sent to confirm and no tracking numbers as of yet. I will update this rating after I actually see the system and use it, eventually. I certainly would not have chosen to go with Monarch if I had known it would take 23 days to ship the computer. Actually, my distaste is truly driven by the lack of communication and follow. If they had just told me of the issues as they happened, I probably would not be nearly as irritated.


Update ---
I am writing to update the above review with more miserable knews. I'm not really sure if I just happen to be the unlucky one in a million or if this goes on quite a bit more than Monarch cares to mention, but this experience has been horrible. I bought this system on March 8th and have had it in my house all of one week. I finally received the system 28 days after purchase and set it up and started to install my software. It crashed. I rebooted and continued installing and ran it for about a day with no real issue. Then I started playing games and the system froze after about a 1/2 hour playing Call of Duty. I had to power down and restart. Upon restarting I recieved a memory dump blue screen and that was it. I spent 3 days on the phone with Monarch tech support and determined I had possibly bad motherboard or CPU. I had to RMA the system to Monarch and havn't seen it since the last week of April. I get no communication from Monarch that I dont initiate. Although the employees are helpful and polite when you call, having to call and wait on hold for a 1/2 hour to get anyone who knows anything about the issue is irritating. I have also sent another email today to the RMA department through their website at 9 am this morning. No answer other than the auto reply of "we got your request and will be in touch". I have my serious doubts as to what kind of system builders these guys are if they can't build a system that last more than a week and then afer diagnosing the motherboard issue, cant get it replaced and up and running in two weeks. I have had entire systems built and in my possesion in less than two weeks from Falcon with no issues at all after the fact. I regret going to Monarch!. Oh, and with all of this, you might think that any good company would try to make the consumer feel a bit better by at least 1) communicating on a regular basis or 2) try to make up in some small way for the irritation and aggrivation and the 2 months without a system. Not Monarch. Nothing at all. I will never purchase from these guys again and I would highly suggest you dont.
