With the biggest blizzard in DC history starting that Thursday, my order placed on Monday and the likelihood of my wife's car not getting here for two weeks for weather... "This was our first time shipping a vehicle. It was an east coast to west coast shipment for our young, first-time-on-their-own kids. We were very apprehensive and unsure what to expect. Montway was helpful and professional during the entire process. One of the things that immediately drew me in was that when I voiced my apprehension to the representative, and commented on a few of the negative reviews I had seen, he did not try to sweep away my concerns or the negative reviews. As a customer service trainer, I was impressed by that. He very honestly told me that with the number of transactions done by Montway, things might occasionally go awry in spite of the company's best efforts. He then reassured me that the company would always do everything in its power to address any unintended issues. He also told me about the numerous transactions the company did for a number of reputable establishments. His answers were reassuring and honest without being condescending or dismissive. Moving forward in the process the driver called the night before as promised, and adjusted his original proposed pick up time for my convenience. When he arrived, he was courteous, helpful, and very professional. By then I had discovered we had made a mistake in the drop-off address and had given the garage entrance address instead of the main address. The driver told me to call back the schedulers since they were authorized to make changes. When I called, I was again treated with courtesy and respect, and the change was done very easily. And to top it all off, the car arrived on schedule (in fact at the very beginning of the date window given) with everything intact. We are pleased and relieved and would definitely recommend Montway. In fact, I am writing this review in spite of my general reluctance to write reviews, despite being a consumer who makes numerous purchases/transactions. Shipping a vehicle is not a "run of the mill" consumer transaction, and if I could help allay the fears/apprehensions of someone else by letting them know about Montway's excellent service, then it's worth the time and effort."
