"There were a lot of hiccups along the way, but my vehicle made it to the destination on time. After booking the shipment the original agreement was pay about $150 online and the rest would be due on time of delievery. After calling them they wanted an additional $400 before they would pick up the vehicle and the other $800 on time of delievery. Then 1 day later they showed up to pick the vehicle, they called about 4 times and left 3 emails within a 6 hour period demanding payment. Then the truck that showed up could no load my car without the assistance of a flatbed towing truck, so that was another out of pocket expense. Then when they delieverd it the driver called my wife and set a meeting time of 0700, he was almost 3 hours late and again could not unload the vehicle with out the help of a flatbed tow truck, so another $70 out of my pocket, which he also failed to mention to her on the phone, and complained to her the whole time they were waiting on the tow truck to arrive. Also, he had spare tires leaning against my car on his truck.

"I was very unhappy to find out that the driver caught a ride to the pick up location and drove my car 40 minutes to his truck. Had I known they weren't going to drive the truck to the pick up location, I probably wouldn't have had the vehicle picked up. I used Montway once before and was very happy with the service. This pick up left me a bit leery about using them again without clarification as to how my vehicle will be picked up.

I was also told that the vehicle would arrive on the 19th (the last scheduled arrival date), and took off a half day of work for no reason. The car arrived the next day, but the driver did wait several hours for me to get off of work."

Big Red, my Lexus GS350, was handled with care. She had the likes of a Ferrari and Maserati for company. Apparently enclosed shipping is used mostly for high end and vintage vehicles..who knew? The driver was accommodating, friendly, and made the pickup and delivery easy for me and my family. The overall cost for the 3000 mile trip was much less then it would have cost me in hotels, meals, gas, and wear & tear (on me as well as my car).

The driver noted all the existing scratches which will help me get them buffed out. Big Red arrived in perfect condition.

Based on my experience, I would recommend this service to anyone and I would use their services again. I loved that the online estimate matched the final price. Cash on delivery is expected which both Montway and the driver reminded me about. "

"We were totally satisfied with our experience. They picked up the car at our home in Colorado as expected, they delivered it 2 days earlier than scheduled at our son's home in Maryland. They worked with us to make pickup and delivery times convenient for us. Their price was less than most of the other places we checked out (and the few cheaper ones had bad reviews or a bad BBB rating). So in summary I'd say good service and good value."

"We were very happy with Montway as far as setting up the pickup and delivery and price. We have used them in the past (3 months ago) and liked them at that time too.

This time though we were very dissatisfied with the driver Bob. He was rude and unresponsive. He was determined to not deliver the car at our door saying that it will be hilly and have a lot of trees. I told him that we had a vehicle delivered 3 months ago and they managed to deliver it to our house but he did not agree. Then he agreed to deliver to my husband's office and took down the address. Even after doing that he was in a completely different location and took the address again and arrived 3 hours later than planned.

We have now had 3 cars delivered (2 with Montway and one with another company) and this has been our worst experience with a driver ever. Will never recommend Bob. "

"I shipped my car from Texas to California. Of all the vehicle carriers that approached me, Montway was the best choice I found in the rating / price curve. There are some companies that offer the same service for little less than what Montway quotes, but having known nothing about how this business works, I wanted to play safe. In the end it did prove worthwhile as the whole process went "un-interestingly" as how I would have liked.
Make sure you give them a 5 day window (especially if you are not in an easy route; i.e if you are not shipping your car from Loving County , New Mexico to Grass Valley CA). However if you are on an easy route, expect the phone call to ship your car on the first day of your 5 day window.
I highly recommend their service and would go back to them if I have to ship my car again. Thanks Montway."

The only thing that would have made it better would have been if my car delivered over the weekend as expected, but I realize that delays happen and I was happy to have it the following Monday afternoon.
