"I purchased a car over the internet and had went online to shop for truckers to ship my car to my town. I chose Montway since it seemed that they were recommended online and the price seemed reasonable. I booked for the car to be picked up on sept 19th. I received an email on the 22nd to say that they have not yet found a trucker. On the 23rd I followed up with a call and the rep was pretty helpful and said they will escalate my ticket and pay a trucker more to pickup my car. I shortly received confirmation that day that a truck was going to pickup my car.. that didn't happen until Tuesday PM. Okay I was fine with that. Driver was suppose to deliver the car on Friday. I get a call Friday in the late evening that his trailer broke and needed to get it fixed. I call him at 10pm and he said that he needed to drop off the other cars in front of me before he can meet, so he said we can meet Saturday morning. Saturday morning comes and he said his truck broke and said if I wanted the car; I needed to go to him to pickup. I finally got the car Saturday evening. The end result; it Took a lot of time to get it. If you're not in a hurry to get your car this may be an option to go. I wouldn't do it again. "

"Everything went great until the moment that my car was dropped off.
First the driver called me and made me drive 10 miles to go get the my car from him. If i did not have a rental car at the time I would have been screwed.

Then when we got there we waited over an hour for him to try to figure out how to get the car blocking my car on the trailer off the trailer.

The driver not only repeatedly slammed another car into the back of mine getting it off of the truck, when it came time to take my car off the truck he missed the ramps and the car fell off the back. I was screaming at the top of my lungs for him to stop, but he went on anyway. After it happened he told me my car was a jeep and it was tough, built to take that kind of punishment. I was extremely disappointed, and I am not sure what kind of damage has been done to the under carrage, shox, axels, etc.

I understand this is not Montway, but the shipper they used Gogo Autotransport is horrible."

"Montway did a good job. The actual transporter that Montway lined up for us was fantastic. The only suggestion I have for Montway is to make it easier for customer who have never shipped an auto to understand the whole process. . We did not know what we were doing and kind of had to fumble thru it. If Montway reps would be more helpful to 1st time shippers it would have made the experience much better. We were not really explained how it all worked and continuously worried that it was not going to happen.....however if we had know how it all worked the whole process would have been much smoother. This the reason they did not get all 5 stars from me. They were not the cheapest either, several were as much as $150 cheaper but we like Montways BBB rating and were willing to pay the extra because of it. "
