"I ordered a product from MotherNature.com and I had a $5.00 off coupon that I applied. It said $5.00 off for first time orders, so I figured that is what the coupon was for. My total with shipping and the $5.00 off coupon was supposed to be $27 something, well, when I submitted my order, it did NOT give me my $5.00 off coupon and my charge was $32.00. I immediately canceled my order and sent in a form requesting that my order be canceled (via the website). No one responded to me and on September 1st I received an email saying that my order was shipped!! I then went back on the website to submit another email (because apparently you can't talk to a live human being in customer service to actually help you with customer service) saying that I had canceled my order and why is it being shipped? I later called the phone number at the bottom of the screen and talked to the order department. I talked to Chaz Hall and he was SO rude. I explained the situation and he would barely let me finish what I was trying to tell him. He told me he would send me a call tag to send my order back. I told him all I wanted was an "I'm sorry that happened" or "I'm sorry we shipped your order even though you canceled it." But no, he argues with me and says "no one messed up" I said, "well, actually, yeah you did! You shipped my order after I submitted the cancel form with an explanation of why I was cancelling and no one contacted me for 2 days, so yes your company messed up, all I want is an apology!" He then hung up on me! That is so rude and I've worked in customer service for many years and I would have never treated a customer like that. I got the call tag and sent the product back last week. I will be checking my credit card statement and if the money is not refunded, we will be contacting the credit card company to submit a claim. "

"After I placed an order online at MotherNature I immediately received a confirmation email with the order details. Shortly after I received a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number for my shipment. The items arrived quickly and I received exactly what I ordered. "I've ordered from Mother Nature 3 times. Two of those times I've received the wrong merchandise. Their problem resolution system does not work like it's supposed to. Responses are slow to come and are not always visible on their onsite customer service pages. One returned was handled adequately and the second is still awaiting resolution."

"So...I don't know what is going on. Three weeks ago I placed an order. After about a week and a half, I received ONE of the FOUR items that I ordered. Meanwhile, I received no notification of my account status at all. Wondering where the rest of my items were, I logged into my account. According to my account status, the rest of the items are being processed by the warehouse. So I emailed the company SEVEN days ago to find out how long this will take. I did not receive a response. Today I called them, and they could not tell me anything helpful, nor could they cancel my order. At this point, I need to wait until my order arrives and then return it. THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE FULL AMOUNT immediately after I placed the order, unlike more reputable companies that wait to charge your account for items until they have shipped. I am moving out of state in TWO weeks and when I called I was informed that they can't change the address for where the items will be sent. They can't do anything for me at all. So, if the items ever really do ship, and if they arrive here before I move, I will still NEVER order from mothernature.com again because they are a terrible company. I think that if an item is out of stock, it should say so on the website so customers will know before they order (like, say, vitacost.com). The Mother Nature website is old fashioned and their customer service is practically non-existent. I wasn't sure about placing the order in the first place because I had never heard of the company, and I should have gone with my gut. Despite receiving one of the items I ordered, I'm still not sure that they are not thieves. "

"I do 98% of my shopping online and this is the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE so far. This company will not answer any of the 8 help desk questions I have submitted. I placed the order almost a month ago. They charged my credit card immediately, but still have not got my order. There is NO WAY TO CONTACT MOTHERNATURE.COM except to use their "help desk". Their phone number is a recording that states that operators for NEW ORDERS cannot help with exsisting orders! LOL! Their website contains NO CONTACT INFO except the worthless "help desk". YOU COULD NOT PAY ME TO EVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

"I was so enthused when I came upon their website and looked at the selection of the products they said they were offering. However, this business has NO IDEA how customer service should be! I placed and order on July 4th, and the first part of my order came in a couple of weeks. Then, I inquired when my second order was being shipped around August 8th. Each time I wrote, I had to wait 5-7 days to hear back from them. "Oh, sorry, we are out of it and waiting for the product to arrive. You may wait another week or so!" was the answer I got. In between, I got 2 more products shipped. About 15 days later, as I did not receive anything I wrote back and the answer was that they had CANCELLED my order since they cannot get the rest of the products! Without letting the customer know, they just decided that they needed to cancel."We will reimburse you in 1-2 cycles" is not enough and now, I am trying to get the full amount they owe me since they only reimbursed a part of my money that they charged up front!!!
What kind of practice is that? And why don't they say up front they don't have the products ordered and be in touch with the customer regularly to let them know of the status of their order.
Their entire business practices and ethics are questionable and I would NOT recommend this company to anybody, because it's very frustrating to deal with them.
