"Avoid this company like the plague. It's been 3 weeks, a bunch of unsuccessful attempts to speak to a human by phone, and one of my items is still 'being processed.' There are dozens and dozens of complaints about this company and its 'charge now, ship never (but tell you it's shipped) practices, I now see. Also, it turns out they are part of Vitanet, another disaster; if I'd known, I would not have ordered from MotherNature. Blasphemy to call this company that.
My 3-item order was broken into 2 shipments. The first box arrived after 12 days via UPS in a flimsy, too big box that was crushed down to the size of the item and its plastic air bags. It's been over 2 weeks and the second part has not even been shipped, although one item says "usually ships within 24 hours." I am unable to discover what's going on.
You can not speak to anyone by phone, only email. When you click on 'recent correspondence,' you get a black page, no text/image. I wrote after 10 days asking what the status was and telling them I'd need to receive it by a certain date and if that wasn't going to be possible, please cancel the order. I received an email finally, which I found after looking all over their website trying to find a phone number for customer service. It was not in my email account but attached to my invoice on their website, so didn't find it until today; it says "I'll ask the warehouse to ship it asap." They offered no info and apparently did not cancel the order: still says 'being processed by warehouse," not yet shipped, according to their website.
If it takes the 2-7 business days they project once shipped, it could be almost a month before I receive my order, unless they expedite shipping.
It's also the case (I found it on the website) that you cannot cancel an order unless you catch it before they mark it "processed by warehouse"--but that happens pretty much as soon as you place the order.
I ordered from Mother Nature over a year ago--it was slow but not this slow--and got an email prompt to try them again, which I did because I couldn't get one item at my usual supplier. I will go back to Swanson's which has great customer service.
Update 7/21: a second email answered a week after I sent it says order's shipped--but the weight is too low, so I checked the order on their website and only one of the items is shipped, the 'ships in 24 hrs" one (which took 3 weeks). I wrote twice asking that the order be cancelled and that someone write or call to confirm the cancellation: nothing.
I feel terrible for Tatiana who seems to be the only customer service person dealing with the effects of this mess of a company."

"I have come to resent their using a name that evokes the thought of a friendly, loving, company that will care for you, as my experience to date has been anything but... I placed my 2nd (and last) order w/MN.com on May 14, which was the date my credit card was charged. I got an invoice by email on May 19. I received my product on July 11.
This timing is similar to my first order placed with MotherNature.com in February for the same product they had on sale, but they never communicate that something is on back order unless you write to them asking where your order is and why you were charged before it was sent out.
I went to their website to see if there was any indication of a backorder/out of stock situation, and all I was able to do is bounce from one screen to another, each time thinking that clicking on things like "Track Order", etc. would get me to the info I sought.
Whomever does their website is extremely talented in the art of diversion - virtual smoke and mirrors. Similarly talented are the people who thought to post an often non-working toll-free phone number on MN.com, "24x7 Ordering by Phone. Call 1-***-***-****" (which is also the # on Naturalist.com), as well as another questionable 212 area code (NY) # next to the charge from Naturalist.com on my credit card bill. Their desire to remain invisible and unreachable astounds me. I finally got a human being on the phone after my several days of redialing, maybe 25 times in all. In my opinion, this is over the border of 'Bad Business'.
I will never consider doing business with this company again. "
