"I ordered a wrestling DVD from them through Amazon and they sent me a DVD that won't play in my region. I saw nothing about different regions when I ordered it. I have emailed them and am waiting for a response. I have called as well and just got a recording saying that they couldn't answer my call at this time."
"Well if you look up the UPC, and read the fine print, they tell you it won't play in a north American player.........but if you amazon search your movie, click on new disc, and look at the list of companies selling that particular disc.....It doesn't tell you that it won't play in your player. You only find that out when you open it, put it in the player and read the incompatibility message. Then you go back to amazon, ask for a return, only to get an email from Moviemars telling you that you bought the wrong disc. You may return it at your expense and they'll give your money back. Well I just told them that I would keep the disc as a reminder to NEVER buy from them again. If it won't play in an American player, why would they ship it to an Arkansas address? Rip off! Read all of the negative reviews on this company....."
"I purchased a new, region free 3d DVD from Movie Mars, Inc through Amazon.com. It would not work in my USA blue ray player. The message indicated that the DVD was from a different region. I contacted Movie Mars thru Amazon and received an email stating they would not accept the return because it had been opened. The packaging indicated nothing with respect to any region. So there was no way to determine without opening it that it was from another region. I called Amazon and reported the problem and they refunded my money. Movie Mars has not."

"Horrible experience through AMAZON. 12 days to be delivered 30 miles. The tracking number was bogus. Claimed to ship pkg on July 18 for July 21 arrival. I checked on July 28 as it had not arrived. Amazon contacted the seller. I checked my account that night and saw that the delivery was changed to July 28 (convenient? Still bogus). Still no package. The next day the delivery had been changed once again to August 3. Pretty poor service when it was ordered in plenty of time for a birthday gift. I cancelled the order as it had not been received. It arrived July 30, after I cancelled the order. On the second delivery date change (with NO notification from the sender), I re-ordered the item from BEST BUY and it was delivered before the Amazon order arrived. According to Amazon I am "not eligible for a refund." If they are going to support vendors like this on their site, I will order from other agencies even if it becomes more expensive. The brand new item at BEST BUY was half price. I'm just ordering from the source next time instead of dealing with scumbag businesses. Movie Mars does NOT refund return shipping, even tho they did not deliver as they agreed they would and gave me no way to track the package. "

"Be very, very leery if you should choose to deal with these people. Lots of promises, no delivery when it comes to said promises. I crossed paths with them on eBay. They had advertised a book, no picture and a somewhat generic description. Asked for a picture, received an excuse that the book was at another location. Not at all what was advertised in the auction.
These people are what is known as "bookjackers". They advertise things they don't have (hence the generic and unreliable description). When someone orders it, they buy the book from a legitimate seller, jack the price and then send it to you. This is why the description is generic and usually NOT accurate. They do not even know what they have sent their customer.
Be aware and avoid this merchant at all costs. "
"I ordered and received a new DVD from Moviemarrs. They sent it and it would not play so I asked for a refund. They gave two reasons when they denied my request. It is not supposed to play on sets anywhere except the five foreign countries they named (Japan, Europe ,etc.)
Second reason: Since I had opened the DVD it could not be returned (I assume they correctly guessed that I might have opened it because I learned it would not play). Otherwise how would they know I opened it because I still have it in case I leave Texas and go to one of the foreign countries in order to watch it.

"I received the package in a white ripped plastic bag without any protection. Once I opened the package, several broken DVD jewel box fell out. The DVD was damaged. I was told I must return the damaged product in order to get a replacement. Once I got the prepaid return label, I sent it back. I sent reminder e-mail to replace Disney's Jungle Book DVD. Today, I got an e-mail that I will get a refund credit without any explanation why I will not get a replacement when I had written I want a replacement when I return the damage product. "
