"I ordered a "U" transmission/engine cooler for a 1985 7.4 L Crusader Gas engine, P/N 97464. I was in a tenuous situation where I needed to immediately replace the cooler as the old one had contaminated the transmission fluid with salt water and was in a guest dock in a marina. I ordered it 2 day UPS air. When I opened the package, which arived on time, it was for P/N 97878. The difference is that 97464 has water connections labeled as 90 degrees, and the 97878 has water connections as 45 degrees. I was able to modify the installation, but it cost me an additional $65.00! Since I had to get it fixed quickly, I went head and intalled the 45 degree with a jury rig, and was not happy.
As a followup to this review of Mr Cool's service, I must say that it is nice to find such outstanding integrity in a business. Although I had done extenive research, I had ordered the wrong part based on several websites illustrations and their, unknown to me, faulty assignments of part numbers to pictures/ manufacturer dwgs. Mr. Cool's website was correct. They have since offered compensation for the additional parts needed to reroute water hoses to accomodate the incorrect part I ordered. Also, they have completed a comprehensive review of their own website and included some of my photos to illustrate which part is the correct part for each engine configuration. Very competent personnel at Mr. Cool and their organization is first rate. I will use them in the future."

" The heat exchanger The picture of the heat exchanger covers showed two covers. The literature described a set. The heat exchanger has a cover on both ends. A set could be a cover, a gasket, and an "O" ring, or the covers required for both ends. I liked the ONE cover, gasket, and "O" ring I received. I would have ordered TWO SETS except I thought because of the picture I was getting covers for both ends. "
