Collection notice for account paid in full. Rudest customer service ever

"This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with any company ever. I purchased a clarinet and paid it in full and they have been harassing me saying I still owe 800 bucks. I asked for a copy of the contract where I still owe because my contract is paid in full and they don’t have it but keep harassing me and even sent my account to collections and it is Now showing on my credit report. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with any company. If I could give zero stars I would. You can’t even talk to them they just hang up on you. "

Terrible Experience - took 2 months to receive my product with bad service along the way.

"My experience with Music and Arts was probably the worst that I've had with any product purchase, ever...

I would go into the details, but there are too many. Just don't order from them if you want an easy process, based on my experience and even my friend's ordering a different product.

Worst experience with a music store EVER!

"Renting an alto sax from the new Orchard Park, NY location has been a headache from day 1! I returned it over a month ago, yet my bank account was automatically debited for another months rental, over a month AFTER I returned the horn! Customer service has the audacity to blame me for returning my instrument late (I most certainly did not and have the contract to prove it). I have called 8 times today and spoke to 2 supervisors & 1 manager, and their mistake is still not resolved. I also work at a local music store (we rent pianos), and something like this has never happened in the decade I've worked there, and I KNOW it will never happen! I will never support Music & Arts again, and will tell all my local musician friends and acquaintances about my terrible experience. Local WNY people save yourself the hassle: go to Twin Village Music for your instrument rentals! I could write more about how awful this whole experience it was from the get go, but i don't want to be too verbose..."

"I rent a violin for almost 2 years. They stated that I had $400 equity. I decided to buy the violin and then retuned it.

Now, they don’t return the money after just 1 week of use.

Rude staff

"This repeatedly rude and inappropriate behavior has pushed my limits and I will not be coming back. The sales associate humoursly and loudly farts in the store while making inappropriate comments. The other co-workers reinforces his behavior by responding and laughing. This place is unprofessional and rude! He comments, "I just blew up the bathroom!" "Ugh, my stomach hurts!" " I need to stop, I stink!" I have children taking lessons, 3 rentals and purchased 2 instruments

Horrible experience with this store

"Horrible experience with this store. I left a saxophone there to be fixed. I rented another one. They said it'll go to Bothell and they'll call me back with estimate. They called 2 days after said over $600. A complete rip off. They could've fixed the main issues for much less. I said no thanks, I need to come pick up my instrument and take it to Sound repair where they will fix it, I bet for one third of the price. He told me that the sax is not there and won't be there until Wednesday. If I want it earlier I need to drive to Bothell. Wednesday? That was almost a week away. I asked about the manager, he is not there. He is never there, it appears, or they hide him. Then I get a message "oh it'll be here on Monday." I call on Monday (today), they say will call me when it comes. They never call. I call at 7:30 at night, ask for the manager, she says he isn't here. She just called me, like 10 minuted after I asked for the manager, told me my instrument was there. I asked when it arrived today, she said she had no idea, but it's there. But they were gonna call me. So the saga continues. Will I ever get my instrument back, so I can take it to a decent place and fix it for one third of the price this people quoted me. Never again Music and Arts. Never! "

Bait and Switch

"When you rent an instrument, one of the key incentive is that what you pay in rent can be used to purchase an instrument when you are ready.When you go into it initially, they will not tell you the following: When you finally purchase the instrument, the price you are quoted is not the price that is advertised.
In fact, it is the original price. In my case, the instrument was being sold for $1500, but the original price is $2000. Therefore, you pay $500 more. So, essentially, you end up paying just as much as someone would if they never rented anything from them.
So, renting with Music and Arts, believing that your cost of the new purchase will be offset by the total rental is wrong.
This is what they will lead you to believe but it is not the case.Be careful with Music and Arts.

Horrible company and customer service!!!

"In almost two years of renting an instrument through this company we have NEVER had a correct billing cycle. We have had two perfectly working cards on file and they always seems to have "problems" running the card for the monthly fees but then no problem what so ever when we call back because we have three months of late charges due to their billing issues! They are some of the rudest customer service reps I have ever dealt with. When asked why they did not alert us that something was wrong with the cards on file they said "in your contract that you signed we don't have to let you know!". It's just common courtesy that every other company gives, but OK. They want to charge the additional late fees! We are so fed up that we are turning in the instrument today and will have to find another option for the rest of the school year."

Untrustworthy cold hearted owners

"This company, please do not deal with them, it will be the biggest mistake you will ever make, they have overcharged me hundreds of dollars, there untrustworthy, scam, fraudulent people and company, the president of this company has people working for them that are crooks, the owner of this company is a crook himself, thieves shouldn't be allowed to be involved with our children's musical careers, very disrespectful company, I have been appalled by there wrong doings, if you have had the same treatment, please seek an attorney as I have, it has to stop."

Cold, unpleasant people

"I rented a clarinet, and found a problem with some adjustment that kept the bottom keys from closing completely. I was told to twist the bottom part slightly. Yes, that worked, but the top and bottom holes don't line up now. I guess I wasn't dropping enough money there to merit consideration."

"This company is a cheater. It signs a contract with less than the school period for instruments rented and then it will not provide any notification that return due date is coming and silently charge your credit card. For 9 months your cost is 129 and then for even you return 1 day late they will charge $38.50 credit card for flute. It is a scam and carefully drafted plan to cheat people."
