"Poor inventory control, terrible communication.

Took 2 weeks for them to tell me my products were NOT going to ship.

They also revealed my email address to nearly 3000 other unlucky customers. Cool.

"Brought iSkin iPhone 3G and 3GS Fuze Case from My Gear Store on January 9th. They never shipped it, took my paypal payment, and then two weeks later sent a mass email out to everyone who ordered it, giving away my email address to each one of them because they are too stupid to send individual emails that our orders were cancelled. This is unacceptable. Never order from this store, they have horrible customer service and reliability."

"Please note that the invoice number is the google order number since i used google checkout for purchasing the product. I am ok with the order being canceled but not at all happy with the company publicly sharing my email address with other buyers whose orders were canceled as well. Two things went wrong here, they didn't know when to stop taking orders and secondly but more importantly did not know how to handle the situation. Not acceptable."

"The worst company I have ever used to order product. They not only canceled my order and informed me a few days later but also release my email address to public. Hope they do not release my credit card information as well. If you do not want to let everybody in the world to contact you, do not order any product from them. This company should not exist in the world."

"I am very disappointed with MyGearStore.com. I purchased an item, a week later I call to check on the item and I am told the item had been canceled. When I asked why I was not notify, I was told that cancellation email never reached my mail box.

Then I get an email apologizing for the error only to notice that they had put EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO BOUGHT THAT ITEM on the same email revealing everyone' email addresses.

This place should not being doing business online!!!!

"Bad experience. Ordered 1/9 and never heard from them. Contacted 1/14 by email, and they replied stating OOS and was backordered. I chose to wait. Received an email 1/27 saying my order was cancelled since they were out of stock. Furthermore, this was a mass email sent to 2700+ other people, all in the To: line - so I saw the email address of all recipients. Thanks for the privacy, MyGearStore.

Furthermore, the item I ordered is still for sale on their website and the price is higher than when I ordered it.

This site is a bunch of crock.

"I had a pretty bad experience with them. Not only they cancelled the order due to no reason, but also sent the cancellation order to the world with my email address exposed to other 2700+ email addresses. No Privacy control in this retailer. Please for your own goods, avoid this retailer!!"

"Placed an order on 1/4 and was told 2 weeks later that the item was unavailable. Same thing happened to an order placed a week later. Sent me a cancellation email with about 500 other email addresses in it. Couldn't even be bothered to blind copy the addresses! Stay away from these guys."

"Watch out for the shipping times! I ordered from them because I needed an item before I went back to college. They said shipping took 1-5 days so I went with them. A day after I ordered, they shipped the product to me and after checking the tracking number I see it would take eight days. Unacceptable. I called them and asked for them to change the address to my college address and they wouldn't/couldn't do it. After the false selling information, I will never shop here again."

"I purchased a "Rasfox Keyboard skin for 13" Apple MacBook Laptop - Color Black" from myGearStore through Amazon.com, cost is $19.99 + shipping. They sent me "Rasfox Preprint KeyBoard Skin For 13.3" MacBook(Leopard)--Black" 13.3", of course, is those black/white small, last-gen Macbooks. Cost for that (after checking it out on their site) is $16.99. I emailed them saying they've sent me the wrong item, and didn't not receive any reply for almost 2 weeks.
It was when I decided to leave a negative rating for their website on Amazon that they decided to reply to my emails. The email said that the matter will be taken care of ASAP, and if I want them to email me the return shipping label please reply YES; and if I wish I can remove the negative review I've left them.
I replied "YES PLEASE EMAIL ME THE SHIPPING LABEL ASAP" right away -- that was 5 days ago... I'm glad I didn't take off the negative review based on their ONE customer support email.

"MyGearStore has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. They literally took $41 from me, and sent me a defective product. I ordered a Moshi anti glare film for my MacBook Pro. The factory didn't punch the hole for the webcam, and this rendered my webcam useless. I contacted the seller via email, and after several days with lengthy periods of time between replies, The seller finally gave me an RMA to return the item. I happened to mentioned in an email that the film had a small scratch after I tried to punch the hole out myself, and they immediately pulled the RMA, refusing to refund the defective product. The "customer service" rep, Naisha went on to tell me that the item was no longer "saleable" How can it be saleable if it is defective??? Also, it is anti-glare film that costs $41, as soon as I peel it away from the screen, it is going to bend and wrinkle and will no longer be saleable anyway. This company literally stole $41 from me. This was my first and last purchase from them, and I encourage everyone reading to simply STAY AWAY. I should have checked this site before trusting them. There's a reason they are at only 50% satisfaction. "
