"Product works so far. My complaint is that the directions say there are supposed to be different size earbuds included. It did NOT say they weren't included in the online description. I called and they did NOT make it right. Now i have to locate some earbuds because the ones included don't fit."

"I previously purchased a replacement battery from this company without a problem. This time, I should have paid attention to the other reviews, since my experience was similar. I ordered a Sony Ericsson GSM phone, and my credit card was authorized, and then the order sat for days with no action. I then called, and was told that they didn't have any of the phone I ordered. I tried to order a different phone, and the rep couldn't be bothered to take my information on the phone, and she sent me back to their web site. I ordered a Motorola phone instead, described as "brand new", and then I received a different color phone, used/refurbished, in a refurb box with the word "refurbished" actually cut off, and the sticker peeled off of the phone. This phone sells for $25 less on their website. I submitted a RMA and sent an email, and received no response. Bottom line, this company has terrible customer service, and either no idea of what's actually in their inventory, and/or is intentionally misleading customers.

Update, 6/15/2009: after not getting a response to my RMA request via the web, I called the company, got a RMA number, and returned the phone. They sent me another, the correct color. Again, these are used or refurbed phones, with no warranty whatsoever, so buyer beware...you get what you pay for; low priced, unlocked cell phones are almost always either refurbs, or discontinued/surplus old models dumped by the carriers. This time, the phone was packaged with the wrong model battery. Tired of dealing with N1 Wireless, I bought a battery from another vendor.

"I have order a phone they offered and they accept the offer. But after couple of days they send me an email informing me that they do not offer that phone anymore and suggest other phones as a replacement for much bigger price. I wanted to contact them through a phone but it is impossible to rich them. Answering machine says that their agents are currently busy and leave a message so they will come back to you. And then it says "sorry voice mail box is full, you cannot leave a message - goodbuy". What kind of company is that when you cannot contact them and you cannot know the destiny of your money. It is SPAM."

"Their BAD business practice appears to be a recurring theme. The company advertise a brand NEW product, implicitly by NOT stating "refurbished", "secondhand", "used" or "open box"), and send their customers a used/defective product. I read some of these reviews and thought to myself "they were isolated incidence and this will NOT happen to me". I Was sooo WRONG!

I ordered the Motorola S9-HD. It was supposed to be a gift. What I got was a ZIPLOC BAG (CAN YOU F'ing BELIEVE IT!)with a headset (full of fingerprints), a charger (THAT DOES NOT EVEN WORK!), and a couple of USED earplugs! oh and the wrinkly manual. DO THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO SHAME! NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THAT! Who do they think their customs are, some charity cases? How would they like it if someone sells them a product in this condition, or worse yet, gives them a "gift" in this condition! Now I have to go buy out of my way to BUY the gift from one of the local stores!

I called their office 4 times so far, and lo and behold, NOBODY PICKS UP THE PHONE!

I will keep calling them until I get this problem sorted out and will add an addendum to this review.

Going over some of the other reviews, I know they're going to try to wear me down before they deal with this issues, which is why I am going to do everyone a favor and report them to the better business bureau.

In short, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND DIGNITY WITH N1 WIRELESS! JUST PAY THE EXTRA FEW DOLLARS AND GET YOURSELF THE PRODUCT AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU AND YOUR MONEY DESERVES!

Addendum:
In reply to your rebuttal:
1- I sent the RMA, which you have received, and I have yet to get my full refund. Generous me will give you sometime to issue that refund.

2- The product advertised AT THE TIME was implied to be "NEW" because the site never said "refurbished", "secondhand", "used" or "open box". You have acknowledged that on the receipt (which I plan to submit a copy of to the Better Business Bureau and Federal trade commission as proof) and acknowledged it over the phone. Your justification for sending me a new product in a ziploc bag was "That's how we save you money". Really, SHAME ON YOU!

READERS, please read posting by "Briman1" on 5/18/09. N1 Wireless changed their online listing after the complaint! Another deceptive scheme by N1 Wireless.

3- EVEN IF your genuine intention was to sell it as "open box" product, it was still defective!

4- You added the "new" product online just yesterday. I was NEVER offered to buy a "new" product online or over the phone. When I spoke with a customer service agent to fix the problem on 5/22/09, I was told you DO NOT sell the product in a BOX. again, SHAME ON YOU FOR LYING TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!

5- CUSTOMERS, refer to the BBB website. This company is NOT accredited by the BBB. You will see they have multiple complaints regarding their deceptive business practice. In addition, this company's name is tarnished on all over the web for online scams. Just do a google search!

6- I, and many like myself look forward to phone call from one of your managers, if you really are interested in resolving this problem.

"After purchasing a phone online on 5/13 I received an email on 5/14 saying the product was shipped but the tracking number provided did not show it had been shipped. After trying to contact customer service by phone, I got voice mail and a full mailbox so no message. I called a different number on 5/19 and got through, only to be told the product was actually shipped on 5/15, not 5/14, but was assured that it was sent Priority (for which I paid). I checked the tracking number again on 5/20 and learned the package had finally reached the sorting center in brooklyn (where these clowns operate) at 9:30 pm after I had placed my call, and the package was routed with standard, first class mail. Thus, I'm still waiting for the product ordered to arrive. I really wish I had read these reviews BEFORE I placed this order."

"I ordered two Plantronics Discovery 925 headsets. When I placed the order I did not see anywhere in the product description the term "open box". The two headsets were shipped to me in a very small padded shipping envelope. I thought, how could that package be my headsets. Inside the envelope where two zip lock baggies, each containing a headset. Neither of the headsets had a user guide or ear gels. On the invoice that was enclosed with the headsets I saw "open box". I went back to the N1 website and sure enough "open box" was at the end of the description. I called for support and was told they did not have any ear gels and that I could return the headsets to N1. I was emailed a RMA form with RMA number. The problem with the RMA is that they would not refund the freight ($11.00) I called Plantronics direct for support and they agreed to send out the needed ear gels at no charge. I thought OK, I'll keep the headsets. I plugged them in to begin charging them and one of the headsets came with a broken USB port and would not begin to charge. I couldn't take any more grief and boxed them up and shipped them back. The RMA form said they needed to be returned within five days. I have purchased open box items from Newegg.com and they were perfect. "Open Box" items should still be serviceable and in the "Open Box". Headsets should be shipped with new, unused ear gels and documentation. Or better yet, tested, refurbished, and reboxed. These problems with my order were not my fault and I should not have been penalized by not having my freight refunded. They made money on the freight. Eleven dollars for a small envelope, right. I will never use this company again. I would not consider it for any purchase, ever."

"Plain and simple DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

Placed an order for shipping to Trinidad and Tobego which is listed in their areas to ship to on May 11th paid for express shipping which according to them would arrive to destination by today the 15th. After not receiving a tracking number I tried for days to contact them. They DO NOT answer the phone or answer emails. I finally got through to them today and explained the situation. I was told that my order had been shipped but they couldn't tell me by which company or give me a tracking number. I explained that they were not following through with what they advertise and the man became nasty and hung up on me. I then noticed an email was sent to me from them stating that they voided the order all together. This upset me even more than being hung up on so I called back. This time a woman answered and told me they voided the order because it could not be shipped to the location I requested. When was I going to be informed of this? This company is a fraud and a scam in my book and should be shut down. We will see what happens to my refund. Better believe if it's not refunded it will be brought forth by my bank as fraud.

I find it amazing that after several unanswered phone calls and emails it takes me posting a BAD and HONEST review about this company for them to call to try and rectify the situation. After speaking with the representative that called my opinion of this company is STILL the same.

THEY LACK PROFESSIONALISM AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. THE MOST IMPORTANT AND VALUABLE ASSET TO ANY SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS.
