"Great!!! they would not send out my order until I called to confirm a small amount that was place on my credit card and I was glad that they did this to protect my credit. So far the scooter works well and it helps save me money I do not have to catch the bus for three or four blocks to pick-up a few items from the store and I get exercise.
Thanks NYCEwheels

"Great experience - I ordered the scooter after doing a lot of research, and it arrived very quickly. I'm enjoying it."
"the service was great but, the bike came well, but no instructions??? on anything?? also it is missing a screw from the bell, yes its minor and stupid)) and the cord to charge the battery direct (I assuming this, since I DO NOT HAVE INSTRUCTIONS). So? nobody check shipments to be sure everything is in place, what else did you miss, you did great until the last part having a good experience receiving the product........"
"NYCEwheels were really helpful. I had some issues with payment, and they were very patient.
The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and managed to help me get the right the bike and accessories."
"Did NYCEwheels deliver ? Yes most certainly, always on time . I live in Southern California and rely on NYCEwheels for my Dahon fold up needs. Their customer service is just that, call them they have the answer, they can tell you if it is in stock and if not when it will arrive. A pleasure to do biz with. Will be ordering my next foldup from them.

"I came in for a repair on a bike i had purchased from them about a year ago. It was just basic maintenance and a tune-up. I was hoping I could get it back to me the same day, but they told me that there was a three-day wait. Although they weren't too backed up this time of year, there were repairs ahead of mine. I asked the guy behind the desk (Harrison, I believe) if he could do me a favor and do mine faster. He said that they tried to do quick repairs as soon as possible that way customers weren't waiting a week for a 10 minute job, but that since mine was a longer repair it'd have to get in line with all of the others, and that the three day wait was an estimate and that if it was done sooner I'd get a call as soon as it was done. I understood and respected this. I got a call two days later that it was done. I had some questions, which they answered for me. My bike rides great again now that it's been tuned up. I'm happy that I bought from them and not just some nameless internet site, because the customer support is great. Good people."
"Awful owner name Bruce. I wouldn't recommend anyone to this store at all.
I had problem with my City ebug a month ago so I took it to NYcewheels for servicing. Doug the shop assistant told me that it will cost about $30. Ended up paying $50-$30 for servicing and $20 for the replacement parts- a switch(checked that on the internet and the real cost was actually $9.99 only). Took the bike for a spin immediately and the battery lights start blinking green and yellow, never happened before.
Phoned up NYceWheels immediately on the same day. Doug said that's normal. 3 weeks later the machine couldn't even start. I took it back since there was s a 30 days warranty. Doug McKinney was nice and almost appological. He told me he will checked it out. I asked to make sure that I won’t be billed again as they didn’t repair it properly(later I found out they were barking up at the wrong tree- the switch was fine. It was the battery which is the real fault and to think that I had to pay for a new switch, their mistake). Doug said yes no further charges this time. They should apologized for causing me so much inconveniences. 2 weeks later I went to pick it up. Doug was absent but the owner who called himself Bruce attended to me. He asked me for another $40 plus tax for the service(just for swapping a broken plastic box to another good one-which I provided). I told Bruce that Doug said there won’t be any further charges. He got angry and told me to call Doug myself the next morning and refused me to the bike. I told him that they were wrong to change the good switch. As it wasn't the switch fault but the battery only. I shouldn’t have to pay again for something that they have done wrong in the first place. He asked me to leave his shop. I asked Bruce to be reasonable and ask Doug. "You can call Doug yourself tomorrow" he replied rudely. The next morning I called but Doug wasn't in. Left 2 messages about bringing them to court. Bruce called back after my second message and said "you got 7 days to pay and pick it up or I will sell it as scrapped" So I went to pick it up with a friend (as my witness) the same day and agreed to pay him. Thinking that I will call the credit card to dispute this charge later. He said I should leave if I am not happy and he is not giving me the bike back even if I pay him this time. But I reminded him that he was the one who asked me to pick it up within 7 days and that’s what I was trying to do. He was contradicting himself now. I nearly rang for the police to take care of this unreasonable guy. Finally he agreed to take my credit card but I think he tried to lie that my card was denied(I think he knows I will dispute the charges) and wanted cash this time. But I gave him another card instead and I watched him punching in this time.I didn't watch him earlier. It said approved and I saw it. So he cannot deny my second card this time. After I left the shop with the bike fully paid twice, I used the very same card which he said was denied for a sandwich and it was accepted with no fuss at all, kept the receipt as evidence. From this I can deduced that either he’s a liar or he did made an honest mistake. Will give him the benefit of the doubt for that but I am very sure he is definitely not a good or clever business men to behave this way. I even asked him, should Doug confirmed that he did said there won’t be further charges would he refund me the $40. He didn’t even want to answer me.
Just be careful when you deal with this sleek guy if you need to otherwise go to another shop. He's a real hell to deal with. His assistant Doug make a better businessmen. I have never came across a ruder man. I will in the meantime take further action to recover the 2nd charges and perhaps further actions deem fit. He has the audacity to ask me not to come back. I wouldn’t even if he pays me. Would you? He should be very ashamed. CBS should put him on "SHAME ON YOU""
