"I placed an order for a Canon BP-315 battery. Today I received an email saying there was a problem with the order. When I called I was told the item was back-ordered and it could be 4-6 weeks. Then they tried to sell me a 3rd party battery. I have 3rd party batteries that don't seem to be working well so I was specifically avoiding them to buy a true Canon battery.

There was no indication on their website that the Canon battery was back ordered. In fact when I look now it still states that it ships in 1-2 days. This transaction feels like a bate-&-switch.

To be fair though the guy didn't push the 3rd party battery too hard and he did cancel my order. "
