"I don't even know why Newegg e-mailed me asking for feedback, I closed my account years ago. Here's my two cents anyway though: I was a long-time buyer on Newegg, they were my go-to for many custom builds I've done -- I've spent thousands of dollars here. Parts would arrive at my door within a week, it was fantastic. I was happy & my customers were happy.
Then, more recently, I tried ordering some things for a personal project of mine. The parts that did arrive took a long time to arrive, one of them was DOA, and one of them was never sent. I messaged the seller who hadn't even marked it shipped, and they refused to give my money back. I then reached out to a Newegg rep who, in summary, said it was not their problem since it was a 3rd-party seller. It was at that time that I sent copies of my correspondence with both parties to Paypal and had Paypal step in to revert the transaction.
After that was resolved, I closed my account. I don't even miss it. You get much better service and prices on Ebay if you know how to use the search filters to properly filter out the substandard merchants."

"I ordered a gaming PC from MXZ one of NewEggs market place sellers. To make a long story short, don't order from MXZ. They absolutely made my experience a living hell with the continued issues involving MXZ. Newegg however picked up the slack from MXZ and they absolutely apologized for everything I'd been involved in and they immediately started helping me pick out a PC that was better then what I originally wanted and from their own stock.
