"The order process and despatch from Nesbitt's were fine, it was the delivery by dpd that let them down. The dpd vehicle arrived at the correct time but the driver could not find the parcel on his van. The driver said he would come back when he had reduced the number of parcels on the van. I rang dpd at 16:55 and was told the vehicle was only 10 minutes away. An hour later the van had still not arrived so when I rang dpd again they said that they could not contact the driver. The next contact was a message from dpd saying the parcel would be delivered between 11:00 and 12:00 the next day. Basically dpd lied about the driver coming back the same day. The following day the van arrived at 12:45 so was late. Because the parcel didn't arrive as specified on the original day I had to make a detour home from work to Lakeside Shopping Centre to get a battery installed in my old watch. A detour that cost me another 45 minutes on my journey so I only just made the hockey match I was umpiring. Could not even get the delivery charge refunded for my inconvenience. Nesbitt's should be able to get this back from dpd as they failed miserably."
