"I have bought previous orders from accessmicro with good success. But do not buy their laptops...very cheaply made. Within the first week, the battery snap popped off. They did repair it but refuse to help me with any information on upgrading the BIOS. This laptop has an EXTREMELY loud POST beep and one needs to upgrade the BIOS to disable it(from mitacs Website). Mitac's support website is horrible and the directions for Bios flashing are less than adequate(and I have done it several times with several motherboards). This is my largest purchase from them and also regrettably my last.

"I have only use AccessMicro once, and it will be the last. The computer hasn't worked right since day one. The system will run nothing without having some sort of exception error, hang up, or rebooting itself for longer than an hour. When I called AccessMicro technical support they first told me it was possibly a monitor or graphic card issue. I replace both, using and older monitor and having the same problem and buying a Gforce 5900 graphic card to replace the Radeon 9600 graphic card that came with the system. The problem remained. Finally I got a Return authorization and return the computer at my cost of $160.00 dollar and they kept it for a week and a half. I finally sent an e-mail asking for the status of the repair and I recieve both an e-mail and a phone call indicating that they found no problems and the computer was being shipped back. I called AccessMicro asking them to look harder as I was sure there is an issue with the machine. I talk to a supervisor who told me that he will hold the system a little longer and I also asked him to remove everything from the hardrive and set back to factory. Still my computer shipped within one hour of my phone call and nothing else was done. I recieved my computer a week later and within 15 mins. from opening the box, I encounter the same problem. The hardrive had not been cleaned everything remained and they even left thier benchtest program BCM_Factory on the system. Having had enough I called back asking that I return the product and get my money back. I was told that I was not out of the return window for the system and that no refund would be given. The system has not work since I purchase it, they were aware of this and yet they stated that as far as they were concerned there was nothing wrong with the unit. After talking to another Supervisor who would only give me a name of Jose I was told that they would take the unit back and look at again. I asked if they would not return the my money would they just build me the same unit and swap it with the one I have, since they have said there is nothing wrong with the unit I currently have in my possession. I was told that was not a option. Having no other choice I am now waiting for a No-Cost label for me to send back a system I really don't want to have anything to do with, and hope that after having it for week and half before they will find the problem. Keep in mind I also purchase a 1 year warranty and that still doesn't get me a working system. Even when I offer to include the program disk so that they can try them and see what I am facing I was told that would not be necessary. I contacted tech support again and sent them the Minidump files generated by Window XP showing a error the day I recieve the computer after sending it AcessMicro to be fix. I advise anyone who has a problem with thier system to return it as soon as possible and don't let them yes you to death before your 21 days run out.
UPDATE - After posting this review I recieved a call from AccessMicro. I was told that this problem will be handled and taken care of. The technician that called was very poliet and understanding and seem to sincerly want to help. "
