"Very satisfied with mattress."

"We wanted to wait a couple months before writing a review to really give the bed some time to get used too. We started loving it immediately!! It is so absolutely cosy and comfortable. Years ago I tried a memory foam mattress, but you sunk in so deep that to turn around, it was a real effort, therefore it woke me up to change position. Our Novobed is just so gentle on your body and you don't sink in too deep, it is the perfect support. Sleeps cool. Surprisingly almost no off-gassing when we opened it. Much less then my mom's Essentia mattress. It is also a beautiful mattress to look at too, really first class, the cord on the side is useful too, it helps me to lift the mattress to make a king size bed! First class service and product from a first-class company! The best purchase we have made in many years.

My husband suffered terrible back pain with our previous mattress, he couldn't sleep with his pain. We purchased mattress support board to help firm the mattress but it did little good. Since this awesome new bed, he has not had any back pain at all. I have a good back, I could sleep anywhere, and on anything, but why sleep on just anything, when you could sleep on a cloud(: I know it sounds corny, but it is so true. I love my bed!!

"There are TOO MANY options out there when trying to choose a memory foam mattress. All claim to be the same thing, but prices vary greatly. I bought my Novosbed Classic based on the review the company received on a comparison site (sleeplikethedead) and their US-made high-density foam. The product is great and their customer service is phenomenal. The latter is a more and more a deciding factor for me when choosing a product. "

We exchanged our Sonata mattress for their Aria mattress and everything went down exactly as their website states. The company fully paid to accept our first mattress back, and within a day of confirming pickup, credited my PayPal account. As far as the mattresses go -- the quality of the two mattresses we tried was excellent -- but the Sonata was too firm for us. We ordered the Aria instead. Novosbed's staff was extremely kind and an absolute pleasure to deal with - despite the fact that we chose the wrong firmness level for our sleeping style. "I LOVE my new classic full size Novosbed mattress! I have a platform bed with a tatami mat and previously was sleeping on a futon on top of this. but apparently the futon had worn out over time and I started having back and neck pain. I did research via Internet and found this fairly new company based on Canada and had read good things and decided to trust my gut and boy am I glad I did! I've had the bed now for almost 2 months now and I have no complaints. I've been sleeping like a baby. I used to sleep on a tempurpedic for years and had the best sleep of my life. the quality of the novosbed is comparable to the tempurpedic and it's definitely a good alternative to tempurpedic at a fraction of the cost! "It was very easy to order the mattress I wanted, and it was delivered right to my apartment. I ordered the Harmony model because I wanted a softer memory foam mattress with a cooling layer, and the price was right. Although I was initially hesitant to buy a mattress that I hadn't tested beforehand, trying mattresses in stores was a hassle with salespeople following me around. Also I like that it is a Canadian company. Like all other memory foam mattresses, it initially smelled, but this disappeared within 2 weeks. I'm pleased with my purchase. "

"I was moving and decided to ditch the old spring bed with a memory foam top for a new one. While at a brick and mortar store I really got interested in memory foam after sitting on a tempurpedic but did not want to spend $3-6k on it. After doing some googling and reading reviews found novosbed that was a fraction of the cost. For reference I got the Aria and I find it firm but soft like they say. The customer service was quick to reply to my questions about the product including help customizing delivery at my home. The un packing was one of those wow moments seeing the mattress expand out of a small box. After several hours it was ready. The pillows that were included for free I would say were okay, but could be a bit bigger. The mattress is a dream to sleep on. It's very comfortable and responds rapidly when you lift off. My dogs never want to leave it in the morning.. and neither do I. All movement is very isolated.. you could jump on one side and not affect your partner! I highly recommend it. I actually built my own platform bed frame for it and keep getting compliments. I would say that if you are looking for a great memory foam mattress for your master bedroom go with NovosBed. If you are looking for something for infrequent use like in a spare bedroom perhaps try the cheaper memory foams depending your budget."

The website is helpful and easy to use and customer service was very helpful in answering my questions. We have 2 twin XL Arias, which we use in a king frame. We purchased the twins so that they would be easier to move, and I'm glad we did, since this kind of mattress is heavy. When the bed is made with a sheet, you cannot tell that they are two twin beds and even when we use them, they don't feel like two separate beds (no indentation between the mattresses). The bed was perfectly comfortable out of the box (after letting it "off gas" for a few days) - it did not need a "break in time." Also, we got the Adagio pillows and they are the best pillows we've ever had. "

"I recently purchased a mattress from Novosbed because I read an article about the company in the National Post business section. Before that, I'd been looking around for a new mattress and found that the memory foam ones were still too expensive. The article said it's Novosbed's goal to provide quality memory foam matresses for the same price as traditional spring style matresses by not having retail stores. Anyway, I liked their business model and wanted to support them so I took the plunge and purchased an "Aria" matress, which is conventional memory foam, same thing as a Tempur-Pedic.

Delivery was swift and in a compact cuboid box, and the product was free of manufacturing defects, except for one pillow that took almost two days to fully expand instead of the 7 hours Novosbed advertises, not a big deal. I emailed them about it the next morning and they offered me a free new pillow right away but there was no need, it expanded fine, it just took a bit longer.

The matress itself provides good support. It also appears larger on my bed than my spring-style king size matress. It's not actually larger, but it's more square and the corners are less rounded than with spring style matresses.

Sleeping comfort is excellent, but one thing to note is that it doesn't spread your body heat like a spring style matress. The spot you're lying on warms up but the surrounding foam remains relatively cold, so the temperature contrast when you roll over is greater. Sophie from Novosbed told me to try a wool matress protector from the St. Dormeir brand, which sounds like a good idea to me because I've wanted to buy a protective cover anyway, and natural wool will distribute body heat better than memory foam covered with only a bed sheet, so I'm going to buy one of those this weekend.

The two agents I spoke to on the phone during the process, Sophie and Caitlin, had exceptional service and a genuine desire to advise me correctly, not to upsell me.

Anyway, overall an excellent experience. Should I need another matress in the future I'll buy it from Novosbed again. I like companies like these and I wish them the best; they try to innovate instead of stagnate and they bring me something new and better for a reasonable price. Next thing I'm going to buy is a Tesla from Elon Musk!"

""I bought a Novosbed Classic Twin Mattress. I was still using my 51 year old mattress from my childhood. Being a single working parent I just had other priorities, my own comfort being low on the totem pole. With my son finally out of the nest and married, I finally took a long look at my own needs. Novosbed was holding a demonstration at Edmonton Center mall and I just happened to be cutting through there to catch a bus after work. They were packing up by this time, but I grabbed a brochure. When I got home from the gym, I went on line and browsed their products. I LOVED what I saw. There was a bit of a problem with the delivery, because DHL was in my area in the morning during which time I was at work. I did not have a vehicle and busing home with a large heavy box was not doable. After a polite exchange of emails and phone calls, a Novosbed staffer delivered the mattress to my apartment in person.
