"I purchased a 9700 pro, or so I thought. When I received it I thought it was a little suspicious because the model # sticker appeared to be tampered with. I installed it and it said in the system that it was a 9700/9500 series card. I guess I didn't give it another thought until I upgraded my system and did some benchmarking and thats when I updated my drivers which said that it was a 9500. I talked to OCsystems and they didn't want to help me at all!! They said it was out of warranty. Well I said: What does warranty have to do with anything when It was the wrong product. It didn't matter!!"
"The order processing is so slow and they charge you first b4 ship out your package. The service is sucks."
"I had to call Oc Systems to find out why I hadn't even received an email confirmation after 3-4 business days, only to find out that the RAM I ordered was not in stock. I canceled my order and am still waiting for the refund of my money 6 (business) days later. Even with another phone call, was told they were really backed up."
"I'm reading all of these horrible comments and I don't know what to say. For some of the comments, I'd have to say the user probably WAS an idiot.
OCSystems makes no attempt to hide the fact that the memory and many other parts they sell is overclocked.
I bought 512mb CAS 2.0 pc3200 (actually overclocked pc2700 memory). It came just as advertised and actually runs faster than the real stick of 512 CAS 2.0 pc3200 I purchased from cosiar a month later. (Sandra doesn't lie). I now run both sticks together and everything is great.
On thing you must remember is that you need to have a relatively high-end motherboard to utilize this store. Owners of Gateways, Dells, Sonys and other prebuilt systems probably will not be able to manually configure the memory frequencies or processor stepping required to run the OCSystems products as advertised. Granted, but last order was a year ago, but I was extremely happy with the company then."
"I returned 2 sticks of memory with rma's and after 3 and a half weeks of calling about replacements have nothing to show for it. Their only response is the product hasn't arrived yet when they are selling the exact same product on their web site and stating delivery in 1-2 days. "
"Bought pc 3200 512 ram. Heat sheild was incorrectly installed. The ram shorted out, and killed my motherboard, processor, video card, and power supply. When I contacted them, customer service said they would let me talk to technical support. Technical support accused me of installing the ram backwards, and jamming it into the motherboard. I am A+ certified and work on pc's for a living. They called me an idiot among other things, and I asked to speak to the owner, and they refused. I called back numerous times, and could not get through. All my emails were never answered as well. I would highly discourage anyone from purchasing from them. Try newegg, or gameve, they are both WAY better than ocsytem!"
"Last year I ordered a stick of OC System PC3200 Cas2 for a customer. 1 Year later, I was doing an upgrade when I noticed the memory was not running anywhere near where it should. After much trying, I could not get it to run anywhere near the specs it was supposed to so I ran CPU-Z on it. It showed up as Nanya PC2100 Cas2.5. I called them up to get this resolved and the customer service girl told me a tech would call me back by the end of the day. They never did. I emailed them 2 days ago and I still have not gotten a response back from theat either. I am going to give this another week to make some progress and if I don't, I will not only leave an unfavorable rating, but I will also contact the CA BBB, the state attorneys office as well as the FBI for fraud complaints. They are operating across state lines which puts this into the FBI's internet fraud investigations jurisdiction. Most people either don't care or don't know how to deal with a fradulant campany. I do. If they continue to jerk me around, they are going to discover that I am not the person with whome to screw.
I have sent them 2 more emails since writing this, still no response. I have about had it with them, so with no further ado, here's a link anyone who has been ripped of by these people should follow.

"I ordered a Vantec Iceberq VGA & Chipeset cooling kit, some DVI to CRT connectors, and S-video to composite connectors at some pretty cheap prices because the items were on clearance. I received the package in five days from the order date, probably because I live nearby. Shipping is very expensive at $7, but the items I purchased were cheap, so it balanced out. I didn't have any problems, I'll probably do business again to buy small items if it is on sale."
"Horrible experience. Advertised a price on pricewatch with no stock. Took a week to confirm this and 2 more days to re-credit my account."
"I ordered the OCS Enhanced 9800 XT, and ordered it to be overnighted cause I wanted it for a LAN party. Well, I ordered it and they charged my card. I did get it, however it wasn't overnight, it took them a week just to ship it out then they send it ground shipping! I now got the card, and there is mass artifacts in every game I try it on! They also refuse to refund me.
I JUST BLEW 600 BUCK DOWN THE DRAIN DOING BUSINESS WITH OCSYSTEM! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!"
"ordered set of memory modules. Got message they were backorderd and canceled my order. They charged my card anyway and almost a week later I still dont have my $200.00 back! Wouldnt do business with these people again if my life depended on it!!!

"Very bad experience with this company on two accounts. First My Roommate ordered a 9700 Pro from them which he got shipped to him on time and worked perfectly, however sometime later (about 2 weeks) he broke a capasitor off of the card by accident and shipped it back to ocsystem. Upon getting the replacement card back we found out it was nothing more than a 9700 overclocked to a 9700 Pro standards and ran really poorly on any system in the 4 in the apartment. I managed to sell the card on ebay for my roommate for about 220 dollars after my roommate paid 270+ for the card that was about 2 weeks old. I chose ebay rather then dealing with their horrid tech support. Ok, on to the Diamond Warp Case I ordered from them. I placed an order for their Diamond Warp Case with special cut blowhole fan and side fan. When I received the case the blowhole grill on top of the case was screwed down WAYY to hard and had bent in the aluminum on the top. Also upon inspecting the side of the case the side fan cut was VERY sloppy, exposing a lot of the inner of the case and just looking very unsightly. I also ordered some PC3200 RAM from them and recieved PC2700 RAM labeled as PC3200. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!"
"I bought a cathode light kit (RT-12BCCL) from OCSystem despite their bad reseller rating. Since the light was only $6 (shipping was $7) I figured I'd take the chance. I'm glad to say that I got my order today and am completely satisfied with the service provided. I got exactly what I wanted in a well-padded box right when they said it would arrive. My tracking number was posted within 2 days of my order and arrived with in a week of my order. Overall I'm very satisfied with OCSystem.com."
"OMG! This is the worst buying expierence ever. I have a headache thinking about them. I first ordered 1gig of pc3200 ddr ram, and called to verify it was in stock before purchase. Then one week later was informed it was out of stock. I went through one month of their crap before i canceled my order. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!"
"I ordered an 'overclocked' radeon 9500.. They proceeded to charge my card, then e-mailed me to say that since the 9500 is an older model, they don't have any in stock and don't expect to get any in the future. I asked them to cancel the order. They did, but they didn't credit my card until over 10 days later. They shouldn't have charged my card in the first place. And, the overclocked 9500 is STILL on their website.
I don't trust these guys at all, even though my experience was ok. I'm actualy very happy they had to cancel the order, especially after I read the reviews on this site (didn't look here until AFTER I placed the order)
