After 13 days I called and cancelled the order and was assured that my money will be refunded. I can guess the next excuse, they can' call up the order so they cant give me a refund(just a guess.) "I ordered 3 in-stock items on 2/24/12. I called on 3/5/12 to check status as I would have expected them to ship and order said "In-Progress". The customer service rep stated that my 2 of my 3 items were backordered and did not expect them to ship for 7-10 more business days. I explained that they were in stock when I placed the order and I was not contacted or made aware of my order being delayed. The delivery estimates on items are 7-10 days and this will end up being 14-20 days if I wait. Not acceptable. I asked if they could just ship the item that I ordered that is in stock and they said yes but they would charge me shipping charges on that item and then again on the following items once they are in stock. I explained that was unacceptable because the fact they are out of stock is was not anything that I was made aware of. Currently the order is still active. However, if I can find the items elsewhere I will cancel."
"Ordered a blackhawk holster. Opticsale was the lowest price by far, and also included free shipping. I read the reviews here after ordering my product and was worried that this holster would take weeks before getting to me. However, the next business day I got my tracking number. With the free shipping option, took only 3 days by USPS to arrive. USPS tracking said it would arrive on Monday (estimated delivery), got here on a friday!
Could not have been happier.

They basically replied with a poor excuse saying the delay was because the item “didn't not pass Quality Assurance inspection”. This is an exact quote.

"I attempted to order a Blackhawk Gladius Maximus flashlight from them on 11/29/11. This flashlight has been recently discontinued by the manufacturer, which is making it very hard to find one online. OpticSale had the best price (provided by Google Shopping), so I jumped on the deal. After placing my order, I found reviews here and began regretting my decision. I called 11/30/11 (since their online "chat" option does not appear to be available anymore, even during posted chat hours) and inquired about my order. "Anthony" informed me that I had ordered the last one, but there was "noticeable damage to the packaging" when it reached their Quality Control team before shipment; he stated that they would have to re-order from the manufacturer. I informed him that this model had been discontinued and could not be re-stocked. He asked if there was any other flashlight I would like to trade in for my order, which I politely declined. I asked for a cancellation of my order, which he immediately fulfilled (I received a confirmation email stating that I had cancelled my order and my CC had not been charged).
I feel that my experience was probably a bait-and-switch attempt. Therefore, I cannot recommend OpticSale to anyone. And so the hunt for the Gladius continues...

"I purchased a pistol holster from OpticSale and didn't have any problems at all. I was concerned after reading the negative reviews, but it shipped in 2 days and arrived in 2 business days. The shipping was free, so I guess I shouldn't complain that it arrived by USPS in a plain manilla envelope. The USPS had done their best to damage it, but only the package showed any signs of damage. The holster was fine.
Communication was great and the price was the lowest I could find. I even gave Optic Planet the chance to match the price, but they wouldn't. Overall, I am very pleased with OpticSale and won't hesitate to deal with them again."
"The worst internet company I have every dealt with and I do a lot of buying on the internet. I purchased something that was not in stock. The only way I determined that was to finally ask them when nothing was shipped. Zero communications. Yesterday, I waited endlessly on hold to speak to a customer service rep, and finally gave up and left a message - they indicate that they get right back to you - they did not. Now its the weekend, and of course they are closed. I sent an email canceling my order and have still received no acknowledgement. Avoid these unbelievable derelicts!"

"Basically a FRUAD. Clearly a massive Scam. I ordered a watch band. Never once was the item listed on their website as back-ordered. I paid them on the 3rd, received an email on the 4th that payment had been received (paid vie paypal). The immediate indication was that the item would be delivered within 5-7 business days. On the 11th I called to find out the status of my product. Sorry, the item is back-ordered. Customer Service rep confirmed verbally and via email to me that the item would be delivered by the 19-21st. I called again on the 25th, still no item. Still back-ordered by the manufacturer. Never once has an email been sent updating the status of my order. Told now to expect the item to go out by the 1st of the next month. LIES, LIES, LIES. Then, the customer service supervisor that I was transferred to apparently didn't like my 100% accurate explanation of the preceding events and decided to cancel my order on her own. Terrible communication. Terrible service. Terrible company. After my experience and reading so many exact copies of what I went through, I cannot fathom why anyone would ever consider using this reseller. Sham, Fraud, Scam. Avoid at all cost! If I could pick NO STARS I would. That bad. "

Had to call customer service since the chat wouldn't connect and they tell me that "we just sold the last one but we've put in another order with the manufacturer and should get more in a week or so". "After reading some of the negative posts on this site in regards to OpticSale.com and the BBB report I was worried about my order (ordered 2 NanoVault 300 safes). Placed the order on Aug 29 and I received the items on September 1 via UPS. Packing was excellent as was the less than hour email reply from customer service in giving me the status of the order and the UPS tracking label. I would not hesitate to order from OpticSale.com based on this transaction."
