Crooks!!

"This company is awful. Won’t answer phones, takes days to return emails and product never ships. I finally got a tracking number over a week ago that still hasn’t gone live. Now I have to go through my credit card company to get a refund. This company seems like is just an office full of crooks. Shop anywhere but this company to save yourself weeks of pathetic to zero customer service. "

"Placed order 10/17.. Item available. Robo message 10/27 "We are preparing your order for shipping".. Customer service phone disconnects after 15 mins... calls not returned.. emails not returned.. Item was charged to CC immediately. Recent callback "you item is in the queue "... that was 2 weeks ago. Supervisor promused callback... nothing after 5 days. ITEM IS NOW $150 MORE THAN WHEN I PLACED IT. Previous customer... no problems.. future customer.. probably not"

If you don't have it, don't offer it for sale

"10/7 Order #####8096 placed
10/8 I received an email stating "Order Update: Your Order #####8096 is Shipping Soon!"
10/10 I received an email stating "Update on Your OpticsPlanet Order #####8096 Sorry, We're a Little Behind"
10/21 I cancelled order ####8096 because they didn't ship it yet and didn't have all the items I ordered in stock and it hadn't been shipped. " Your OpticsPlanet.com Order ####8096 Reference 101-1007-022445 Cancelled"
I assumed that everything that I had ordered had been cancelled as a partial shipment would not work...items were part of a build and partial items would not work. When I checked my order history, I noticed an additional order that they had created which consisted of a couple items from the original order but also showed as cancelled so I was expecting a full refund.
They only issued a partial refund and shipped the partial order anyway, even though it was supposed to have been cancelled.
11/1 I had to RMA the items which I had received because they didn't honor their cancellation. "RMA##8630 for your OpticsPlanet, Inc. Order ####4538 has been issued"
11/5 They received the items from the cancelled order which I had to RMA at my expense . "Your OpticsPlanet.com Order ####4538 Reference 101-1007-022445 - Return Received and Being Processed"
11/21 I have not received a refund yet so have filed a dispute with PayPal. They are quick to charge you, even though they don't have the item you order in stock, but are very slow to refund your payment. They will use COVID as an excuse but other reputable companies just deal with the challenges. You can't call them because they don't answer their phones. Not the same company they used to be. You've been warned.

NO customer service

"Purchased 3 items shown to be instock. 1 item not instock, no communication!!!! Ihave to go online and look at my order to get any info. Item that I'm waiting for will "possibly" be in stock January 20, 2021- 4 months after order. I cannot cancel because order is in progress status. Sent 1 voicemail ( their system blocks other attempts) and 2 emails- no answer, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!"

"I made a purchase but they sent me a different item. I contacted them requesting that they send me the item I ordered and paid for but they will not cooperate. I recommend that you find another company to purchase from, just not worth the hassle dealing with Optics Planet."

Optics Planet, buyer beware.

"It took Optics Planet one month to send me the wrong barrel. It took them another month to send me what I had originally ordered. I buy thousands of dollars of gun parts every month, and I will never purchase from Optics Planet again, EVER. I am hoping this review will save you from my experience of the worst customer service on the Plant. Buyer beware, you have been warned."

Just awful. Read their customer reviews online for yourself.

"No way to contact CUSTOMER NO SERVICE, their website even admits "We have temporarily turned off our live chat service, are unable (unwilling) to answer phone calls, taking us roughly a week to respond to customer emails, are not able to return voicemails." Honestly, just look at their website!

Then they claim to ship your items and provide a tracking number, but the item DOSE NOT ship and claim cannot cancel order, because it has already shipped...has happened in 2 of the 3 orders I placed, so shame on me for believing it was a fluke or one-time-issue...there WILL NOT be a 4th. order.

Don't buy its a scam

"order a sb tactical fs1913 pistol brace for $199.99 said they won't take money from my account until the item is ready to ship. Money is gone from my account. Order on May 26 2020 said 10 to 17 days then changed to july 19th then 21st now shipment date is August 8 2020 don't buy from them they are a scam. "

Regarding My Order

"My opinion is strictly not to purchase from this website. I placed a 400$ order for a build over a month ago, it has been in processing status since. I have called countless times and emailed to try to get any update on the status of my order. All i have received are two completely automated emails that give literally no information. I understand we are all busy and we are all dealing with this pandemic- but in-stock items dont take over a month to put in a box and ship. The worst part is- I can get no information on my order and also- can find absolutely no way to cancel my order now that its placed. I have to file a claim with my bank to get this money back. Fair warning...."

Horrible service, use your local shop!

"Ordered something that said it was in stock. Turns out it had no estimated availability so I tried to ask if they had something comparable to replace it after no one answered me after a few days I cancled the item. A day or so later I thought it was crap the customer service ignored me about replacement for the item. So I whent back and cancled the entire order. Now almost a month later this company decided to send out and charge me for half the order that they actually did have. Almost a month later they over drafted my bank account for an order I cancled because of their lack of customer service. I cancled the order and didn't keep the funds in my account because I cancled it. Now i cant get the company to do anything about it. They act like this is my fault. Theres literally nothing i can do except take a $100 loss from my bank and pay $192 for an item that I cancled. I would never use this company! Go to your local shop!!"

Hope you arent in a rush

"Im a patient person, but it took 2 WEEKS for them to even assemble and ship my order. In the time it took them just to ship my order I had multiple orders made with different companies that came in in a timely fashion. They can't even keep promises on response time for complaint/question emails. By the time I recieve my item it will have been 3 weeks since they took my money. This is dissappointing, I had high hopes for this company. "
