" No way to correct entries, I was told, except to get off the web site and start over from scratch. However, the data entered would not clear even after hours of waiting forcing me to use a different browser to get back in. Help line people were courteous but couldn't give any help except for taking your name and promising a call back which, let me add, never happened. I would hope that organizations like Oxfam would learn from the US government's flawed rollout of the AHC and devote more attention to their web sites. It might be some small consultation to you to learn that other charitable web sites are worse. "
"It would be cool to have some sort of follow-up method to see where the gift goes."
"Quick, fun and easy. Give a goat and make everybody happpy"
"Site was very easy to use!"
"Site was very easy to use and well presented; like the selection offered; appreciate the choice of mailing a card, sending ecard, or downloading PDF "
"Easy to use web site makes it easy to return. "
"I have always loved Oxfam, but this year there seemed to be more types of gift options a different price points, which is great."
"I found the Oxfam site extremely confusing because of several issues. First, when you go to Oxfam International to donate, you end up at Oxfam America...? Then, a couple issues which are probably just one issue: I wanted to specifically donate money to Haiti in honor of my friend, who is Haitian. Although the site points you to what they are doing in Haiti, it does not allow you to donate to those specific efforts. In that vein, even though it says the donation is for a vegetable garden or fighting violence against women, there is a disclaimer throughout that says the money will go into their general fund. When people donate, in particular when they are told they are donating for a specific item, they certainly don't want to hear that it is going into a general fund. I am familiar enough with Oxfam and remember Walter Cronkite's endorsement of it so I went ahead and made my contributions but I wasn't happy about it!"
"I believe in Oxfam America and the work it is doing so I am happy to support it with "gifts" to members of my family. However, I found the website difficult to maneuver. I had saved my log on information from last year, but the Oxfam Unwrapped site was unable to locate me, so I had to re-register. Then, I wanted to have Oxfam mail a card to one of the gift recipients. I clicked on "send to someone else" but couldn't find where to put in the name and address of that person. I thought I had missed something, so I started over again three times before I discovered that one can put in the name and address of the card recipient at the very end, AFTER continuting to purchase. I did not see any instructions to help me with this. I also had intended to send more money, but gave up without creating more gifts because I found the site too time consuming to manipulate. Oxfam Unwrapped is a great idea, but more instructions are needed for the website."
"Love oxfam! Great Christmas present idea!"
"It was an easy to use website."
"There were very clear instructions on how to print a gift card.
Thank you!"
"Always a pleasure too deal with an organization that does so much good."
"Very user friendly and fun to use."
"I do this every year and am completely satisfied and so is my recipient!"
