"This year I decided to make donations to various charities in honor of my friends as their Christmas present. It was important to me to make donations to causes that are important to my friends. I was thrilled when I came across Oxfam America Unwrapped because there are so many different projects to sponsor in donation amounts that fit my budget. I sponsored a vegetable garden for my vegetarian friend, women's gold for a friend who loves jewelry (a bit of a twist there) and similarly matched things for other friends.

The whole process was incredibly easy because the website is so well organized and the descriptions are clear. I loved that I could add things to my cart and personalize the gift notification. It was also great to have the different delivery options and to be able to pay with PayPal.

I plan to use Oxfam America Unwrapped again next Christmas."

"My experience with the website was not a good one. I ordered two bee hives. The first recipient listed and the place where the item was to be shipped to was my own address. Then, it seemed that when I put in the recipients names, the bees were to be shipped to them. There was no way to confirm that the bees were to be contributed to needy people. It was not until I called that I learned that the bees were to go elsewhere, not to the designated "recipients". That is extremely confusing, and in my opinion, should be changed to be more transparent. I am still not certain that the recipients for my order will get a card and the bees will go somewhere useful. I would appreciate it if you clarify this on your website before I order anything else.

I guessed that meant the name of the persons we were donating in the name of and not where we wanted the chicks,cows and sheep to be delievered.I hope my guess was right.You may want to check the instructions for greater clarity.

"I found the check-out confusing. I phoned and got help. The next week I ordered again, making another contribution, and your Resellers Survey page obscured my last order page. I don't know if my donation registered or if the recipient received the e-card I ordered. I also didn't get an order confirmation, because when I clicked on the obscuring resellers screen, I couldn't get it to go away. The x at the top slipped out of the way every time I tried to click on it."
