"PC Nation is the WORST!!!!!!!!!
We STILL have an ongoing problem regarding being billed for freight charges on a returned TV.
I had in error originally ordered one HD TV that I thought was 1280 pixels and when it came we saw it was only 720 pixels. I contacted the company right away to try and return and/or exchange.
That said, even though I made a mistake...what they sent us would have been sent back anyway. The box the TV came in was a mess. It had labels of several other places the TV had been shipped to as well as people refusing delivery. It even had left a packaging slip INSIDE the box from the year 2011!!!! Also it had the previous customers from 2011 personal information such as name, address, etc.
It took us to stop payment on our CC to even get them to pick up the TV (not interested in buying anything from them at this point). Even with that, it took MONTHS.
I started to receive bills form the freight company that picked up the used piece of junk and sent those to the "customer service" rep I had been talking to. He said it would be forwarded and handled. So...Now again, couple months later..WE have been sent to collections. I contacted them again and after FOUR emails, asking for his supervisor and explaining I will be taking this to the BBB, I got a snotty reply that it was forwarded and I would be contacted next week. that was over 2 weeks ago.
Today, I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and if we still cannot get this taken care of, I am sending it to a lawyer. Enough is enough.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!"
"I ordered a Lenovo laptop on 8/16/15, order # ***-***-****-6405805. Got the confirmation with delivery time estimated August 20-25, 2015. Nothing arrived, no communication from PC Nation. On 09/04/15 I emailed them to inquire when to expect delivery.
On 09/07/15 I received this message: "Thank you for your inquiry. This order was cancelled as we sold out of the item ordered. As the order was cancelled, you were not billed. If you need any additional information, please do not hesitate to let us know."
What an immature, unprofessional, disrespectful way to treat customers.
I order equipment and supplies for 3 companies. I will NEVER order from PC Nation again, and I suggest any of their potential customers find other vendors too.

"Update 1: They have contacted me since this review and are now asking for images of the broken item.
Update 2: I received a message this evening after sending them images of the broken fan and they promised to send a replacement out on Monday. This has resolved my problem so I pretty much have no issues with the company as it stands now. The only problem I can see is the fans packaging was lacking any protection for transport.
Original post: Bought a 200mm BitFenix fan, connected it to the fan controller and placed it into the housing at the top of my cooler master bx case, and three of the blades snapped immediately. The product simply fell apart like it was made of cheap materials or was already broken. I contacted the customer support to file an RMA, then followed this up later asking them why the support request hadn't been reviewed and replied to. Nothing, complete silence.
They were quick enough to take the order and the money, and one positive is they did send it out quickly, but unfortunately without any protection for the item. It seems that if you receive a faulty or damaged item they seem uninterested in dealing with it.
I'd probably recommend dealing with a company that has a support system in place that functions. PCNation seems inefficient. I might now be left to contact BitFenix directly to see if they can resolve the issue.

"I attempted to place my first order with PCNation.com, yesterday, after their website appeared in a few Google search results for hard drives. I ordered a solid state drive and selected the free 3-day shipping offer PCNation.com was promoting. The next morning I found two e-mails from PCNation.com saying that I need to call their 800 number to confirm my identity since it was my first time ordering. I’m big on security, myself, so this was not a big deal. I called PCNation and found that their customer service was slow, constantly sighing into the phone, and seemingly unmotivated. They asked me for a work number (which they already had from my order), a second land line phone number, and they wanted a business e-mail address because the one I’ve had for over 15 years wasn’t good enough for them. One odd thing was that they never asked any real questions that could be used to identify me, my billing address on the credit card, nor any information from the credit card itself (as proof that I had the card in hand). In fact, they didn’t even ask my name till they were about to hang up. After wasting my time with their pointless questions, they said that another customer service representative would be contacting me shortly. Throughout the call, I was constantly told that this was a “one time thing” and it was being done for “the protection of their company & my credit card”. After I hung up, I found the same exact product at B&H for $40 cheaper (and free expedited shipping). I instantly called PCNation back to cancel my order. The same customer service rep answered and when I told him I wanted to cancel my order, he responded with, “well, we are out of stock on that item anyhow…” Ignorant customer service. I don’t know why I thought about giving this company a shot without looking at ResellerRatings.com first. Avoid wasting your time with PCNation.com. (I wish that I hadn’t given them my credit card number… )"
"Everything was perfect. They had the best price on my 50" Samsung TV, and they shipped it very promptly. The TV arrived in flawless condition and was transmitting optimum viewing pleasure that very day.
Thanks!"
"Easy ordering, cheaper than competitors, free shipping, and Google Trusted. What else could you want? "
"Bought a Brother MFC-8950 DW. I received it on Monday. Set it up on Tuesday the 27th of January. Today my secretary sent some faxes. A short time later she received a phone call about the fax that we sent. The page was completely black. We did some additional checking and the only function that worked was the printer. We called PC Nation and they told us that we needed to contact Brother. We called Brother and they said under the warranty, they would send a tech person to fix it. This was after less than 2 days of operation. I called PC Nation back and they referred me to their return policy. You have 3 choices. Order another item, pay for it, and when the manufacturer provides an RMA they will credit your account for the return. The second option is to send it back without placing an order for a replacement and then wait for the manufacturer to issue and RMA and then they send you the replacement item. They emphasize that it may take several weeks to get your replacement. The third option is to send it back and ask for a refund and then pay a 15% restocking fee. This even for a printer that did not function out of the box the way it was supposed to. If I had ordered from Amazon, I would already have another printer on thee way to me. I will never ordered another item from these people. Buyer beware. "
"Although I was a little hesitant after reading all the negative reviews, I decided to go ahead and order a tablet through PCNation. I was not let down. The price was good, the shipping was both free and super fast. It arrived exactly when they said it would. The product was exactly as described. I have no complaints and I was especially impressed with the shipping. "
"I placed an order for a laser printer Oki Data MC362w MFP, (23/25ppm) 120V (E/F/P/S) on 12/19/2014. It was charged to my card. I just received an automatic reply when order was submitted. After 5 days I was concerned about my order, so I called PCNation in regards of my order. I was told that my order was canceled but my money never was return to my account. The just said that the printer is not available anymore.
THIS IS A VERY BAD WEBSITE SERVICE. THINK TWICE IF YOU ARE GOING TO PLACE AN ORDER "
"I left a number out of my address by mistake, which I fixed as soon as I became aware of the error but PCNation did not ship this product to me themselves, they used a third party company and FedEx which is known for being difficult. The third party company will not allow FedEx to correct my address and FedEx refused to do what they were paid to do, deliver the package, not even to their own locations. It took a week and several calls to finally have my package delivered. It caused me a severe anxiety attack for which I had to give me breathing therapies and calming teas. Poor customer service since they had no empathy and did not returned my call as promised."
"I purchased a new printer. After installation issues and needing to contact HP, I was informed the product was out of warranty. Seems I was sold a refurbished printer when ordering a new printer. No apology or explanation from company, in fact, they made it extremely difficult to get a return authorization.
After 3 weeks of email exchanges, I was given green light to return printer. That was Nov. 19th. Tracking confirms company received product Nov. 24th.
As of today...,still no credit for $300+. "
"purchase went great. my order arrived in 1 day, which was 2 days earlier than expected. I'll be back!"
"Poor support and misrepresented inventory. I purchased a printer through Amazon.com from PCNation that was in stock and (when ordered) indicated it would ship later that week. A week after the scheduled shipping date, the shipment was still listed as pending. The printer was a Christmas gift. I emailed asking for an update and customer support said there were none in stock and then asked if I would like to wait another week or so when they may get more.
They made no attempt to contact the buyer, no attempt to update the order status, no attempt to make it right by the buyer and I believe they deliberately waited for the customer to ask whether there was a problem. I understand they are busy this time of year but this is not a customer focused company. Recommend you take your business elsewhere as I will... "
"My order for a printer was placed on Wednesday, December 3, and confirmed at $199. with no tax and free shipping. They contacted me by telephone on December 8 to inform me that the order would be subject to a $16.00 "handling fee", and asked if I still wanted the order. They said that they had to charge this handling fee because they had a presence in California. They legally should be charging California state and local sales taxes on this purchase which would have been $17.91, but charging a handling fee is bogus, especially when it isn't disclosed on the shopping cart, and the order was confirmed. I purchased the printer elsewhere, and will avoid wasting time with this seller in the future. "
"I ordered a 7 port USB hub from PC Nation the Sunday after Thanksgiving. At the time of the order they did not say NEW customers have to be verified, hey waited until Monday morning to tell me that in an email. I called them back promptly and was told the order would go out that day. It didn't. They just didn't get around to it. Nor would they upgrade my order to next day air after their own mistake. I suppose I will get this order someday."
