"I put in a purchase for their Black Friday special on a 32" Toshiba LCD TV and had received an order confirmation that day. However, the next day I received a Cancellation Advisory e-mail canceling my order. It seems they have a poor inventory tracking system on what stock they have available for purchase."

"This company is sure scam, I think they are running business to collection credit cards. I ordered Lenova Ideapad S10-2 for $199. I got the confirmation email almost immediately, My friend and my brother ordered as well. My friend received cancellation email today, myself and my brother did not receive any cancellation email but when we searched for our orders we came to know our orders were cancelled as well for not having enough stock. This sure tells me the story of pcconnections.com, I am never going to have any business with pcconnections. I am going to complain with BBB even if I don't get any positive response."

"Ordered their Black Friday deal on Lenovo S-10 notebook, got email confirmation. 24hrs later I get an email claiming that due to a rush on their website their inventory system could not keep up. I did not feel that their site was running slow or had any other problems due to a rush, and their system sent a confirmation email. Needless to say my order was cancelled and they have my credit card information. I do know that if my credit card is used by someone whom to sue."

"Cancelled order for a television after almost a full day past. Was told that they didn't have stock. Unacceptable. An organization of this size should have proper inventory control. "

"Worst shopping experience I have ever had. They advertised the Lenovo S10-2 netbook for $199.99 as their black friday special. I placed my order immediately as I saw the advertised price, the transaction went through smoothly.

About within 1 minute, I got the order confirmation email from pcconnection. Then I log into my account to check the order status, it already shows "cancelled". Almost everyone made the purchase of this product got cancellation immediately after order submission like my experience.

This is the worst business practice I have ever seen from a large online retailer. As I know this is NOT the only time pcconnection does this "bait and switch" tactics. This is as bad as it goes.

pcconnection used to be a reputable online retailer. As many of us have noticed, their ratings just plummet lately. I think that's a bad sign that they may be out of business soon.

I will avoid pcconnection as much as I could.

Apparently they ran out of stock by the time my order was ready to be processed. "Very dishonest company. I would think twice before ordering through this company. Purchased a 32" Toshiba TV as part of the black friday sale early Friday morning. The order completed successfully. About 15 min. after the order I received an order confirmation showing it was in stock and would ship today. 11 hours later the order is cancelled. It's a nice bait and switch. Tell you your order is successful so you pass on all the other store's black friday deals on TVs, then cancel your order. Read online. Sounds like they did this to everyone. Give your money to another retailer."

"Horrible horrible experience. As with many others recently, I purchased an advertised special almost immediately when it was listed, only to have them cancel the order as soon as it was placed.

They did not notify of the cancellation, it was only after I went back and checked the status of the order that I found out they canceled. An e-mail response to their customer service address took forever, only to tell me they experienced some "overwhelming demand" (it was an advertised special, what do you expect?) and that e-mails had been sent to those affected (a blatant lie, no message was sent.)

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!"

"Sadly as with many others, was duped into believing that I had purchased their Black Friday 32" TV deal. 10 hours after the other I received the cancellation. Customer service could offer me nothing except an apology. There are not even any managers on duty to accept the calls.

I cannot see doing business with a retailer like this in the future. "

"Like many others here, ordered their Black Friday special on a Toshiba 32" from them almost immediately after it became available on their website. I rec'd a confirmation email but my order showed as canceled on their website. However, they continued to advertise the TV as in-stock, conning others to place an order thinking they are getting a TV. Meanwhile, I could have bought a similar TV from another vendor but passed since I wasn't sure if my order was truly canceled. Low and behold, get an email some 14+ hours later with a lame excuse about how they ran out of inventory due to overwhelming demand. Umm, what, did they stock like 2 or 3 TVs for a majorly plugged Black Friday deal? Thanks to their incompetence, I pass on other deals that are now longer available. I truly hope PC Connection goes bankrupt, since they are already morally bankrupt."
