We keep a couple of pen-holding cups, one at each end of our reception counter. We stuff them with the pens purchased from PensRus and the clients LOVE them. They're inexpensive, GOOD advertising. I keep ten or twelve in my bookbag, and after signing a credit card ticket at a store I'll tell them "You can keep that pen." We have our receptionists do the same thing; our clients will sign their credit card tickets and often mention "Nice pen", whereupon the receptionist will tell them to "Keep it, you'll never forget our phone number when you need us!".
Personalized business pens are a FAR longer-lasting, better quality and just plain better IDEA than a business card. As long as these guys continue to keep their prices so low, we will continue to purchase them 700 at a time.
