Their web site was very easy to navigate, their checkout page was simple, and the shipping time was more than acceptable. "I am an FFL dealer and have been trying to place a sizable order with Palmetto State Armory for two weeks.
First they will not answer there FFL sales line ***-***-****
They will not give me a sales extention number to contact them directly
They will not respond to over a dozen faxes requesting a call or contact information to place an order.
And finally I have sent a letter to the Main office requesting to place an order, to be fair they should get the letter by 7/28/2020

"Taurus TH9 showed to be instock. I purchased it. My card was charged. Five days later and with no correspondence or shipping info, I had to contact them by email. They dont answer the phone, recording just says they are too busy to take calls. Today, I finally get an email response that the item is out of stock. Why was it advertised as in stock, why did they then charge my card but wait days after the charge to tell me they dont really have it. Offered to "hold my money" or refund. Well, of course I want my refund. Who wants to deal with an operation like this. Its nuts to even ASK if I want a refund; why charge my card two days after the purchase IF YOU DONT HAVE IT TO SELL!!! Never again. The virus is their excuse, but if you look back, the same complaints I see now go back to at least 2017...I should have check em out before I ordered. I'll stick to a reputable seller."

I tried for months to buy a weapon that was instock,my tax exemption form in Palmetto States hands..No one could do the transaction without tax...(they put in their pockets) I was given other phone numbers for PSA,left messages..Nobody ever called back...I wrote (4) four letter to PSA...One to the owner!!! "So I have bought thousands of dollars in kits, parts, etc...from PSA over the years, and always been happy with everything, never had a problem. Then about 2.5x months ago I bought two AR15 rifle kits from them for about $1100, they delivered one...I have been trying to get the missing rifle kit or my money back ever since. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! They have shut off their phones, they don't even answer them, a machine just plays a message. After dozens of emails, multiple help desk tickets being opened, I received one email over two months ago(they emailed me the day after I opened a dispute with my credit card company, co-incidence, I think not), asking for pictures of the box and everything else that was delivered...that very night I sent them about a dozen pictures of everything they wanted, and more. Since then nothing, no calls, no emails...nothing!!!! Horrible Horrible customer service...
I'm working with my credit card company to get a refund, but it's been almost 3x months with no communication from PSA at all!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PSA!!!! If you have any problems, you'll get the shaft, just as I did...
BTW, I have also just reported them to the BBB, and noticed that I'm not the only one having problems with PSA...they have a 2 out of 5 star rating with the BBB...FYI, BUYER BEWARE!!!!"
"I am a retailer and I purchase all over the internet for my gun shop. It is commonplace when a wholesaler or retailer to refund another retailer that has tax exempt status if they were charged state tax. They charged me, rightfully so, 6% on $600. I emailed them because forget calling to please credit me back the state taxes. They have a copy of my FFL and state resale license. They sent me an email telling me that they couldn't do it. That's just bad business! I'll never buy anything from them again."
"Placed an order for 9mm ammo. Received a confirmation and my credit card was billed immediately. They do not take calls instead you are directed to contact via email, however they do not respond to any emails. I'm on my 5th email without a response. My order has said processing for almost 2 weeks now. I'm taking a ride to visit them in person....."
"I dont know what the hell people are complaining about right now. People are panic buying at the moment and expect their **** to be delivered next day. When they get so many orders a day mistakes are bound to happen. No business is perfect. I ordered my build on Jun 26th I I received it July 10th. I LIVE IN WASHINTON State! A whole country away for those are geographically impaired.
This is my first time buying from them and will buy more in the future. Be patient people. Things are a bit weird right now and not everything is going to go as expected."
"Like everyone else, I found PSAs customer service to be anything but. Absolutely zero communication. Phone systems that just hang up on you. The phone number that is listed for online sales merely directs you to a web form. Submitting that web form is about as useful as screaming into the wind. I've seen others say they got replies. I did not. No replies to emails. No replies to web form messages. No replies to certified mail sent to them. I understand it's a weird time due to Covid-19, but that doesn't mean you can just disappear like they seem to have. They do promptly take your payment though. I've never had such a disappointing online purchase experience. I wish I would have read their reviews prior to making my purchase. I hope you're reading this prior to making yours."
"I ordered a smith and Wesson no shield from them on 6/20/2020. Nothing except an email confirmation received. 11 days later their “compliance” dept said they the FFL I was having it shipped to License was set to expire. I called the ffl. They were receiving their new license shortly and were still receiving shipments. I had chosen them from the order page on PSA at the time of the order. I asked Compliance for an ffl in my area that was in compliance. They said none were. I found One on the first call and they said they were receiving 10 shipments a day from psa. Psa has no phone number to call. Their responses take days and are idiotic. Days ago I provided The info for an alternate ffl. I’ve written maybe ten times. I’m **** off. They are a disgrace as far as customer service. I should Have driven 2 hours to buy it locally for a few more bucks. I’d give them negative 5 stars if I could "

they give you a msg and tell you to go online to contact them. When you email them they apoligize that it will take several days for them to answer your email. The first excuse they gave me on my order was that the local Academy was no longer a FFL dealer. ( the local Academy is a FFL dealer for them i found out ) They then sent email for me to choose another dealer and i did few weeks ago and now they tell me order is on hold because THAT dealer is not a FFL ???? They gave me BOTH dealers to choose from.

"I ordered an optic from these guys and they took my money. I checked there website and the order showed canceled by them. But the money was not refunded. Tried calling several times with no answer. Found their retail store number in SC and they didn't answer. Sent 2 emails with no response. My guess is they are not working or no longer in business but someone is running the website to take my money. I would strongly suggest avoiding this company. "
"I ordered one weapon, was sold a different weapon which WAS NOT IN STOCK! They knew it and sold it. Their posted cancellation policy says if it has not shipped from Palmetto it can be cancelled. I emailed "James" who lied and said it had been "prepared for shipping" and I would have to have my FFL cancel the order and return it. BUT IT IS OUT OF STOCK AND HAS NOT SHIPPED. My FFL dealer has received nothing from Palmetto State and has received no notification of a pending order. I have called, emailed and attempted to reach them daily to cancel the order and apply the funds to the correct weapon. They have no customer service, no one answers and no one will reply. Palmetto State Armory sold me a weapon they did not have, they refuse to cancel the order and sell me the correct weapon and the refuse to reply to any emails, calls and requests for service. At this point, they processed my card for a weapon they did not possess and refuse to issue a refund. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. POST THIS ON FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM AND HELP OTHERS.

we are unable to cancel your order as requested. Your order has been processed and prepared for shipment. You can have your FFL deny receipt of the order. Refusing the package would re-route it back to our warehouse. If the package is NOT refused by the
FFL, we will need the FFLs email to send them a return label for the firearm.
Once the firearm is received back in our warehouse, we will issue a refund. You will be responsible for the cost of the return label.
DO NOT TRANSFER THE ITEM FROM THE FFL. WE ARE UNABLE TO REFUND TRANSFERRED FIREARMS.

"Order a firearm June 10th. It is now July and I don’t have it. Palmetto State Armory sent my firearm to the wrong address. The FFL dealer was up to date on their paper work. PSA had a random address for the dealer. My firearm was never delivery, it was returned to PSA. I am doubtful I will get my firearm or my money back. I will be contacting the BBB and my bank. I have tried to email 4 times and no response. Phone calls don’t work. Disappointed and will go out of my way to tell everyone PSA ****!"
