I just ordered a Sharp 70 le745u tv from Pauls Tv.
The sales mans name was John Kim. He was very helpful.
He was not pushing me in anyway. Polite and informative.
After we haggled a little we came to a nice price and closed the deal.
I'll keep everyone posted as the next chapter unfolds.

Received shipping track #. Wow , so far so good. I called Pauls tv phone # to verify, and again, they were very polite and informative.

AIT trucking just informed me to expect delivery on Tuesday 4/17/12. They will call 4hours in advance to set up a time on Tuesday. Again, WOW so far so good. Will post an update again.

TV arrived today 4-19-12.
Perfect condition. Hooked it up, and love it. Nice picture. Used 3d glasses, included in purchase, on a downloaded 3d movie. WOW it's really cool.

"They offer a price match guarantee for all retailers including online. I spoke with March Johnson on 1/13/12 and confirmed the details of the price match including that they would match the out the door price including tax. He confirmed yes, if I could show that price they would honor it. I called on 1/21/12 prior to visiting the store to confirm that they would match the online price and what I needed to bring. I was asked to bring a print out which I did showing the price. The manager then refused to honor it and said regardless of what I was promised they did not care. I called customer service and spoke with Ann who advised me she would call back in 2 hours. Over 3 hours later Don Edwards called me and advised me they would honor the base price but not out the door. He said he agreed that was what I was promised but he did not care as it was below their cost. After a 30 minute conversation he still refused to honor the price and told me oh well and he could not help me.
Paul's TV has since contacted me and responded to my postings with a blanket statement similar to the one below never addressing the root cause of the problem. They lied. The issue was never over tax but instead over their employee making a specific well informed promise and them then being unwilling to fulfill it. "

"Pauls TV is selling defective product. I have bought a speaker system Klipsch HD300 for use on X'MAS 2011. The powered sub woofer did not work. I called Pauls TV right after I found out the problem, and was told to call Klipsch technical service (The date when I called Pauls TV is 8 days after I placed the order, or 2 days after I received IT from UPS). I went ahead call Klipsch service and know they could not do anything. Klipsch service advised me to return the speaker system to Pauls TV. I called Pauls TV back and let them know I did not want to return, that I just want to have some kind of service on sub woofer. They told me they could not do anything about the sub woofer unless I have proof talking to Klipsch manufacture. At this time I decided to give up due to Christmas time, and the value is not worth my time. Pauls TV robs consumer by selling defective good. Their price is low but the product are junk. Pauls TV guarantee policy on online sale is so trick that we will have “the point of no return” when we give them credit card number. Don’t buy from Pauls TV if you can afford a little higher price where else ant to avoid frustration."
"Twas the Nightmare Before Christmas!! I was a bit leary about ordering a large screen TV online, but Paul's TV was offering a good deal on a 3D Bundle saving a couple hundred dollars over local store prices. I went ahead and pulled the trigger. Initially everything went smoothly and they shipped the product quickly. Given the size of the TV they use a freight company for shipping. I was actively checking the tracking online and the product said to be at the local shipping company. A week went by and didn't hear a word so started calling and turns out the tv is lost. I'm now on my 4th call to Paul's TV customer support. They keep telling me they will look into and get back to me within hours. The last customer service rep I spoke to yesterday told me to leave a bad rating if he did not get back to me within 3 hours (well here it is). Well the hours are turning into days and here I sit without a TV. The moral of the story is if you are only going to save a couple hundred dollars on a TV, buy local!! I sure wish I had."
"I just bought a new Samsung UN46D8000 (online TV purchase for the first time too). Needless to say, I was a little concerned about shipping, damaged goods, etc. In addition to getting a great price on the set (3D bundle with BD player), they shipped it out lightning fast. I ordered this after work hours on a Tuesday and it arrived to my home mid-day Thursday.
TV came in perfect condition, well-packaged and even the box was in good shape. UPS was the shipping company and the driver was nice enough to make a few more rounds while I inspected the TV before signing off on the delivery.
Overall, I'm a *very* pleased customer thus far. Hopefully there isn't any other reason to buy from Paul's TV but I would definitely recommend them. My only complaint was not getting any kind of shipping notification but the surprise delivery certainly made my day."
"I ordered a Samsung 55" LCD LED TV (UN55C6500) with free BD Player (BDC5500) and free WIFI (WISO9ABGN) on 4/1/2011 (Fri) for $1599 incl. freight shipping (no tax). I was a little bit nervous because I haven't heard of this company before and some of the reviews are mixed. However the price was excellent so I gave it a shot. Immediately after ordering I received an email confirmation.
I received three shipment notices. The first 4/3/2011 (Sun) for the Wifi adapter, which arrived just a couple days later. The second 4/5/2011 (Tue) was for the BD player. In both cases I got an accurate UPS tracking number and the items received in good time.
The TV itself also shipped 4/5/2011 via a company called Home Direct. Again I received a tracking number which came up blank for the first few days, until I realized that rather than putting the tracking number in the tracking number field, if I put it in the waybill field instead then I got accurate tracking instead.
The shipping company called Mon Apr 11th and indicated they could deliver the next day. I actually missed the call and when I called them back they were fine with delivering it today Fri 15th. (more convenient for me). They also called to provide a 1pm to 5pm window the day before and turned at just before 5pm, delivering the TV in perfect condition.
As far as I'm concerned this is exactly how a transaction like this should be done. I didn't get pestering calls to sell my extras like $20 HDMI cables or $250 installation options. I'm sure they would have helped me had I called, but I just wanted the TV delivered when I expected for the price I agreed, and this was exactly what I got."
"I was a little worried about ordering from Paul's because of mixed online reviews. More than one month later, I couldn't be happier. Customer service was very helpful, polite... and spoke clear English! It's nice speaking with a rep who actually works in the same building where your item is being shipped from. Ordered 58" 3D Plasma, 3D BluRay player and 3D Kit combo at unbeatable price. 3D Kit arrived with a pair of broken glasses. Paul's immediately shipped out a new Kit and paid for the old one to be shipped back with no questions. Would recommend and would use again."
"Horrible, horrible customer service. They sent me a tv, which I canceled. The did not refund me. They got the TV back, and still didn't refund me. They then charged me 100$ for the return shipping of the TV, which wasn't listed ANYWHERE. I would not recommend them to anyone. "
"Cancelled my order (and many other orders) of a 47LH90 for $999. It was an attractive price at the time. When the order was cancelled the offered to replace it with a few lower quality TVs. Considering the volume of orders cancelled, it seemed like a ploy to get people in to settle for other TVs. No problem getting a refund, but be wary of any attractive deals they have."
