"Your Milford DE store is generally a nice place for me to shop, I always stop in when I am in the area, however I do not plan to shop there again. First the store needed more associates for this time of the year. The cashier in the Ladies dept. was very nice, the customer in front of me had many, many items and in the middle of her order she had to go to her car for something she had forgotten, the associate then told me to go to the cosmetic center to be rung up. At the cosmetic counter the associate was waiting on a customer who couldn't decide on what she wanted. Although I had not said a word, the associate called on the intercom for another cashier, no one appeared. After several more minutes, I had still not complained, she called for Judy to come to the registar. Judy did come immediately, looking at me she asked what was she called out for. I said I think she wants you to ring my purchase, as she rolled her eyes, she asked the cosmetic associate what she wanted, the associate told her the same. She rang only one item because she couldn't read the upc on the other item. In the mean time, my husband came back into the store, thinking something happeded to me! As much as I love Peebles, I plan to never shop in this store again. I worked in retail for 32 yrs., I would have never treated my customers like Judy treated me!!"

"The store has almost no help. It is difficult to find someone to answer questions, etc. Once you find someone, they are very friendly. I like to shop locally and we are a small community with little to choose from. There is almost no parking available on a Monday afternoon. What is it like on Black Friday or even a regular weekend?"

"Disgusted with the store in general and don't see any improvement coming any time soon. When it takes longer to check out than it does to shop it means the store has inadequate coverage. Too many customers in line with me on the day I shopped were also commenting on how angry they were that they had to wait so long to pay for their purchases. I know I won't be making an effort the revisit Peebles any time soon. My shopping experience has soured my opinion of Peebles and I certainly can shop and spend my dollars elsewhere with a more positive experience."

"I really do not know why the store in Milford, DE is still open, I always go in there once a season to buy for our toddler, I love your selection of not only Carters but other brands - I was SUPER dissapointed yesterday when I went in for pajamas and the employee told me they have received no toddler pajamas and only had FOUR RACKS of toddler clothes - she said they do not sell so they are not sent any! Ridiculous! The whole children's/boys department is bare!"

She even helped me carry my heavy purchase to the register and also to the front door, Even offered to continue on to my car, but I parked in the handicap spot and close by. I thank her for that.
