"I have never visited a Peebles store, I recently moved to the area and checked it out. My first visit I was hooked. I visit once a week, there are new items every week. I have been satisfied with all of my purchases that I have bought here, the coupons you get are awesome. The staff is very nice and helpful if you need it. The one employee remembers us because we are frequent visitors. Everyone should check out this store you will be glad you did! We love it!!"

"Arrived at 7:15 pm tonight after my son's baseball game to have him fitted for his tux for prom. WE were the only customers in the store. After spending ten minutes on our own finalizing the tuxedo choices, I headed to the check out counter ten steps away to track down and employee to get him measured. One would think with us being the only customers in the store and both employees standing 20 feet away someone might have come over. i was promptly told " she is not doing any more tuxedo fittings today, she has done too many". My response was "what?" She then said " it takes over 30 minutes to do a fitting and we close in 30 minutes". I replied " no , it does not- I have rented tuxedos from this place close to twelve times and it takes less than 15 minutes" Our exceptional customer service representative replied" well we are not doing anymore today, it is too close to closing". I would have been dumbfounded had this been the first time I had a tuxedo renting mishap, but unfortunately for me it was one in a long line of issues. If it was not the only place in our small town to order tuxedos, I would not repeat this lesson in frustration but we are stuck unless we want to travel 45 minutes out of town. I even called earlier in the day ( based on previous experiences) to verify when the tuxedo fitter would be in- no one told me " only until 30 minutes before we close" -they said until 8. If you offer a service but only during certain hours within the store's actual hours, a smart business would post that. Like the post office - they only take passport applications between the hours of 10:30 and 3:30. So if I needed a passport, I would go between the hours of 10:30 and 3:30 even though they are open between the hours of 8 and 4:30. Not expecting it to improve- it has been this way far too long but I think management would like to know. "
