"Bought a pair of nice men’s Sperry Billfish shoes. Wore a few times and the tongue fell out. Could not locate it. When we contacted Peltz they said it was more than 90 days so they would not do anything (shoes received mid-July, tongue lost last week of October, just outside the 90 days). It was clearly an issue with the stitching not being done properly. Amazon service was great; Peltz not so much. AVOID!!!"

"If I like some shoes I try to buy several because I know it usually will be discontinued soon. So when I saw my favorite sandals on Amazon, I ordered the same model of my favorite Aerosoles sandals size 8 in different colors there. The delivery was good and fast, but the **** color sandals was in size 12 instead of my ordered 8. Unfortunately I didn't noticed it fast enough because I put it in the closed without checking the size. When it was time for my old **** sandals to go, I opened the box with a new ones and found it was size 12. OMG Its huge! I tried to contact the seller but it was more than a month since I ordered it and they didn't give me the refund. But I am even more disappointed because I have to look for a new **** comfy sandals now which is very difficult to find. And the person on the phone was really rude, what a terrible customer service."
"Found a bargain from this seller on Amazon, I should have read their reviews before ordering! They sent me the correct box with a completely different item inside. I emailed them through Amazon and they replied that I would need to return the shoes for a refund and try to reorder them at whatever the current price is. Miraculously, they no longer had the item even though they had it in every size just yesterday. I think they screwed up the price on Amazon, I ordered it, they realized the issue and sent the wrong thing rather than honoring the sale. Now that I read the reviews, I'll probably be lucky to get my money back. FORTUNATELY, I ordered through Amazon and will contact them for a refund it the vendor isn't prompt. I can't believe Amazon allows dishonorable vendors on their site."
"Ordered two pairs of shoes from Peltz same manufacturer same size just different colors. Tried on the first pair didn’t fit - didn’t even bother trying on the second pair since they were the same shoe just a different color. Got a return receipt through the website.Returned them within two days to the post office and got a receipt for dropping it off at that post office. I was waiting for a credit through my American Express card when I received an email from them stating my return was refused due to the fact they received the box that I sent with the two pairs of shoes inside but they said the shoeboxes were empty. I asked if the box had been opened or tampered with they replied no. There was a weight registered when I dropped them off. A little research would indicate that if the boxes were empty to start with the weight wouldn’t have matched what was sent originally. I have never heard of such a thing. They keep stalling promising they’ll get back to me - they never do. After 4 phone calls and being left on hold I realized I have been scammed. At that point I started looking at complaints against this company which I should’ve done in the beginning - shame on me for not doing this in the beginning. Now I’m out the money and the return freight with nothing to show for it. It’s such a shame that such good companies are going out of business this year and companies like this continue to stay in business - People read the reviews before you purchase buyer beware. "
"Ordered from Amazon and size was not fitting. So I sent shoes for refund. They did not refund me anything after me paying for return postal charges. When asked to send shoes back they were very rude and asked me to send label. I never experienced this with any of online stores but first time with peltz shoes. Customer care agent was so rude she is not even listening to what I am saying and put me on hold. Hey peltz shoes if you need money ask it man, don't scam from people. Never buying or suggesting to buy anything from them."
"I ordered shoes that were listed as being in normal width that I had been unable to find elsewhere. They were a little more, but worth it to get the right width. Added them to my cart, but apparently they did not have them and automatically converted it to wide width when you added it to the cart even though normal width was selected. By the time I caught the mistake it had already processed. They didn't honor a 5 dollar off discount or agree to stop the order. The same shoes were 10 dollars less on another site (6mp totally recommend them), and they refused to honor that either. They said I can ship them back and they will refund but it will cost me 6.00. No offer to make it right."
"Last fall, I ordered a pair of expensive Merrill shoes for my husband. They were to be a Christmas gift so he didn't get them till that morning, they were too small. Shipped back and no refund because more than 30 days had passed since they were purchased. No credit and after 120 days, they are donated, even though he never wore them and they were in the original box. I would not recomend this company to anyone.. I am out over $100. "
"I freaked out reading all the bad Peltz reviews. But like others, I have to report a good Peltz experience out of Amazon. My Clark sandals came, quickly and the right size, fit like others I've had. Sorry others have had bad experiences. But felt like I had to give my account for the record."
"Bought a pair of sandals that did not fit properly, tried to return them. They said they could not return my money because they were were not resellable. I don’t even know how that can be as I only tried them on in my home. They also said they were not packaged in original box. They didn’t come in their own box! Just the box they were shipped in and in which I returned them in. Now they have the shoes AND my money. "
"I ordered sandals. When I received them they were too big and had to return. They do not offer exchanges. I returned the sandals with the shipping label provided. Peltz charged me the shipping them proceeded to email me stating I did not return the correct product and they can not reimburse me!!! WHAT?!?! I sent the copy of my order and still sent same email! Called the company and there excuse was new people working returns. Seriously!! Did not even offer to eat the shipping cost. Still waiting for my money to be deposited. Hassle for returns and customer service. Will not buy from them again!"
"Ordered a pair of shoes, then decided to cancel the order when I read the terrible reviews about Peltz shoes.
I canceled through a chat session; they guaranteed the order was canceled and my credit card would not be charged.
Lo and behold...my credit card was charged (they said the status is "pending").
I called the next day and the customer service agent assured me my credit card would not be charged and it would be in a "pending" status.
Last checked my credit card account...the charge was still there.
Next step will be to dispute the charge as a "charge back" so I get credited properly.
Also informed Peltz cannot charge your credit card until the item is shipped...they knew that but charged me anyway because the shoes were never shipped.
First and last time I'll ever do business with these shysters."
"Bought a pair of shoes and had to return for another size. Spoke to the Peltz rep who said the company did not have an exchange policy, and that I needed to return the shoes and reorder. The rep assured me that I would not have to pay for shipping since it was basically an exchange. I was still charged a shipping fee. I contacted the company twice requesting the shipping fee credit. Both times they refused! I will never purchase from this company again."
"Ordered shoes and have sent FOUR e-mails requesting help returning. Not ONCE have I gotten the courtesy of a reply! Now it’s beyond the 30-day return time because of their refusal to even help me. Will now dispute the charge on my credit card - I bet I hear from them then! I am a first-time customer and it will be the LAST! "
