"This is an unsolicited review. June 30th I selected Pet Mountain online to place an order for a 6-dose box of Sentry FiproGUARD for cats. I didn't know what to expect, but the price was equivalent to what I would have paid at the local brick and mortar pet store.
Website ordering page appeared secure (https), easy to navigate and I immediately received a confirmation email of my order. On July 1 I received an email that my order had been shipped as requested (Saver, 5-8 business days) and was given a Fed Ex tracking number. On July 8 I received exactly what I had ordered in the time frame promised (even with the July 4th holiday). I'm very satisfied with the product, price and service I received and would recommend Pet Mountain to anyone looking for a reliable online bargain in pet supplies. Thanks. "

"Pet Mountain is awesome. The prices on aquarium supplies are less than half of the retail stores. Shipping was fast and although the box was damaged, the contents were packaged well and undamaged. I made an error on my order and they were FAST at resolving it and even shipped the correct items for free. Customer service when I called was also good, the representaive was polite and friendly. She even made small talk while she processed my request for a refund."

"Great prices, quick shipping (I chose Ground for $2 more since I know that super saver shipping usually takes much longer to where I live). They have a great assortment of products. The Prime water conditioner bottle was twice the size but the same price that my local store sells it for! And the Flourish Excel was less than half the price so even paying shipping made it cheaper. Plus the other items I bought made it that much better of a deal. It was very well packaged. Tape around and across the bottle tops, placed inside a plastic bag then wrapped in bubble wrap. I like that they took so much care and effort to insure that the bottles wouldn't leak. I didn't have any problems with my order and no reason to contact them so can't speak to their customer service. I will definitely shop there again.

UPDATE: 12/26/2012 I've since placed 4 more orders with this company and must say every order has been shipped very quickly (in some cases same day I ordered) and all packaged extremely good to avoid breakage, leaks etc. Not had any problems with any order placed. All were delivered within stated time frame or sooner. I had to email customer service one time because my phone number didn't show up on order when I used PayPal and didn't want that to slow the process down. They replied within a couple hours, so based on that one experience I have to say the customer service was excellent. "

"Ordered a Rena Filstar XP1 filter from Pet Mountain. I hooked up the filter and everything looked good. Initially I didn't see any leaks. About a day later I noticed the water level had dropped drastically. Upon further inspection of the filter, I noticed it was leaking around the corners of the top of the filter. I then took the top of the filter off and saw a crack in one of the corners. One quick call to Pet Mountain and a brand new filter is on its way. In fact they said to keep the other filter and use it for parts. It's unfortunate that the product was damaged, but they quickly rectified the situation. Great service! You don't see many companies like this anymore."

"This was the second purchase I had made from Pet Mountain, with unbelievably excellent service. I placed an enormous order on a Sunday night, and had my order shipped out before the end of Monday. I received my order, promptly 3 days later, to find all items inside carefully and meticulously packed to ensure their safety (UPS is often quite rough with my packages, apparently). Pet Mountain emailed me when I placed my order, and when it shipped, along with the tracking number. Their prices have been the best I've yet found, and has saved me over a quarter of the price of retail (PetSmart is DAMN expensive). I will continue to use Pet Mountain, as they have shown me what an internet purchase should always be like: the customer comes first. P.S. They often have excellent promotional deals, like free shipping, or 10% off subtotal. Go Pet Mountain!"
