"Had to call for help to set up an account. Understandably a busy time for them, the service person was just right out rude. Would not have requested assistance if I did not require. Product ordered did arrive and am sure that it will be appreciated. The ‘free’ offer was not included. Surprised?? Not me and attempts to connect with customer service by the website ‘questions’ is not responded to. Don’t have the inclination to call and be connected to another surly service person and may I add the wait time to be treated badly is rather long. Not a company I would recommend. "

"I had ordered the philosophy firming facial serum, because it was finally back in stock on the website. When my package arrived, everything else I ordered was in the box, however the serum and was not. I noticed that my bank statement reflected a charge that was less than the amount I had originally paid… So I assumed that the serum wasn’t in stock when the order was sent to me. Never did I receive an email to apologize about the mishap… After I called and spoke to someone at customer service, they told me I should’ve received an email that explained the item was out of stock. When I went back through my emails and checked, I received an email that summarize my order… however everything was in such fine print, that I didn’t even catch that the facial serum was not listed. I have been waiting for this item to get back into stock, I even called philosophy the week prior and was told to check back the following week. It was super frustrating not getting proper notification, hey this item is out of stock even though you ordered it and you will not be receiving it. At the time they were running a special for free shipping with orders over $50, and when I called and expressed this to the lady at customer service, She said there was nothing she could do or offer me because if I were to order the facial serum on its own, it would not exceed $50. I was just super disappointed in the customer service experience that I had with this company… Especially because their products are so great. I just expected better communication and a great customer service experience."
