Outstanding...

"Contacted Chris via email about an Epson P900 printer. Pictureline had it in stock when others did not. Chris was prompt to respond, to all my email/questions, that kept popping up. Very professional, courteous, and helpful. First time with Pictureline, but definitely not my last. Printer shipped same afternoon I ordered. I don't expect any hitches once it arrives, so don't think I will need to update this review. But the purchase process was smooth and fantastic..thanks Chris!!"

"Pictureline always offers incredible knowledge and a staff that is happy to listen to what it is you're wanting to do. It is nice to go to a camera store where they don't try and pressure you into buying anything, just want to make sure you're getting the right thing. I love that they don't work on commission because it allows for a much more honest and enjoyable shopping experience. "

"This is the first time I have ordered from Pictureline, and I am very well pleased with the entire experience. I had a couple of questions regarding the item I wished to order, so I emailed them, and I received an expeditious reply to my queries from "Nathan". "Found pictureline while doing some late night searching for a place with a fuji x100s in stock. The status was shown as pre-order and so I took a chance (I'm glad I did). I emailed them after the preorder to find out when they would be getting some stock in and the next morning I received a very pleasant email that some stock would be coming in later in the week and my order would be fulfilled. Fast forward 3 days later, my order is processed and the item is on a UPS truck. Very pleased with the service offered and speed/quality of communication with customer service. I am definitely making them my next 1st stop for photo gear."

"I stumbled across the Pictureline Web site while looking for a Nikon D800E. I was impressed with the accuracy of their stock status on the Web site. I ordered on-line but then talked with customer support later - VERY HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE. I found their prices very competitive (often the best price). I will be doing more purchasing from them in the future. GREAT BUSINESS. And yes, I did order my D800E from them."

"There are many camera stores with similar prices and similar gear. I know I can get anything I need on any online camera store etc...I shop at pictureline because of their fantastic customer service and their knowledge of products. No one can beat their customer service. Pictureline legitimately cares about the customer. They make sure that the customer is happy and satisfied with their purchase when they walk out of the door. I am speaking from personal experience. As long as pictureline is around I will never shop at any other camera store. "

"Pictureline is the Nordstrom of camera stores. I have been shopping at Pictureline for almost 4 years and not ONCE have they treated me poorly or made me feel as if my questions were stupid, whereas another local photo chain store called me a "soccer mom photographer" and was very condescending to me. I have actually called Pictureline while on the job a few times and have received personal help with technical issues. I am blown away by their friendly, experienced and knowledgeable staff. I won't shop anywhere else for my camera needs."

"First, I'm confused with some ratings that said they were glad they didn't buy at this store, when it requires you to have an invoice and transaction date. How accurate is this site?
I have used Pictureline for all my photo needs since they opened. I teach photography at a school and I purchase plenty from them. There are plenty of other stores but there must be a reason why I always go back. Somebody mentioned Inkleys, but I don't like them trying to change my mind because they are getting a kick back from the various companies. I have had (many) students say they wanted to get a Canon and Inkleys tried to talk them out of it and get a Pentax. (like the one he had on his t-shirt) As has been mention the in store service at Pictureline is wonderful. You have their attention and they help educate you. As far as returns, I seldom have a problems. I once purchased a camera for a student organization, and it wouldn't even turn on. When I called them, they came by with another one and took the one that didn't work. They offer classes and seminars, and carry brands and equipment that they consider to be the best. If you want junk, or to be hassled by the ex-used car salesman to photo rep go to the big online shops that carry everything. As far online sales, I've never done that, but I do know that if you look at the web site at 12:00 and you wait to order it at an hour later, it is a web site and someone else around the world might have purchased it during that time. I have every confidence in this organization and the people that work there. If the business was bad they would be getting rid of employees and hiring new ones, the same people are working there that have since the beginning and they are still adding staff. Its a class act, even if you're not buying equipment, go to the store and see how it should be done.

"Pictureline has saved my bacon on more than one occasion. I absolutly love this company. Mostly due to the awesome employees and service that has exceeded my expectations on several occasions. Early in my career I had a shoot for a preschool downtown and had somehow forgotten my spare batteries for my Nikon DSLR and noticed that the battery I was using was almost dead. I began to worry about losing the client forever since kids were lined up non-stop. I called and the employee said he would have a battery (fully charged) for me waiting at the store for me to BORROW- just to get me out of the pinch I got myself in! I couldn't believe how helpful they were. I ended up buying the battery and have since bought a lot of equipment from them including high end cameras, flashes, stands, wacom tablets, etc. I have found their service to be outstanding EVERY time I have visited either their SLC or Draper store because they will take the time to troubleshoot issues, educate you on purchases, and make honest and straightforward recommendations. I'm converted for sure."
