When I received the almond oil, the box was saturated with oil because the cap was half opened. I've ordered Piping Rock essential oils before, so I knew they are a reputable company. I contacted Piping Rock about this problem. To my gratitude and surprise, they responded quickly. Soon, I received not only one bottle of their Sweet Almond oil, BUT TWO!! "Bought a product for 13 USD and paid 13 USD as transportation charges. Product was sent thru DHL. DHL asked for 4 USD as Customs Tax which I was willing to pay but they wanted another 16 USD as handling charges. Have called for many International packages but the experience of Piping rock and DHL duo is horrendous. I have refused to take delivery of the product. and I was charged in my local currency but when i discussed with the Customer support, they said they r not aware about the local handling charges. Then why r u selling the product in my currency...... Do your homework before u expand. "

"If you are in the UK you will be charged import duty plus £8.00 by Royal Mail. If you don't pay Pipingrock will charge a 20% restock fee and return postage. Pipingrock should make this clear in their web site the info is deep in the small print and the company has a union jack on the home page giving the impression it British, its no its in the USA.

"Placed an order and asked if it was possible to make a change on the packaging, because of the customs.
This was not possible at all... Which is weird, because I do a lot of business with other countries, including Asia, China, Canada and the USA. Sometimes even Australia, though shipping from there is expensive.

And I never had an issue before of changing the packaging lable with any of those companies. Unfortunately PipingRock doesn't care and is not willing to do this. Therefor I will review this company as HORRIBLE. Plain and simple.

I doubt the package will be here within the mentioned (in writing) 3 weeks. Especially they don't want to change the packaging lable. Which will mean the customs will confiscate the shipment and delay it several weeks... Oh well... Lesson learned."

"My experience with Piping Rock was disconcerting. Supplements are valued medicines to many people, (Dandelion Root is a diuretic, which is an important medicine to aid in the reduction of excess water in the body). Quality & reliability of medicines & supplements is extremely important.
Piping Rock shipped me one of the 2 bottles (/set) of Dandelion Root Capsules, with the 'Expiration Label' selectively 'TORN OFF'. This is NOT acceptable. (Use your imagination as to why any Medicinal Supplement Company would remove an 'Expiration Date'). Did they think I wouldn't notice or wouldn't care? WRONG!!!
When I contacted Piping Rock to complain, they wanted to refund me less than 50% of what I paid. 'Unscrupulous' is the best word to describe them, dragging their feet in every step of the refund process, .... not to mention, Piping Rock won't post honest reviews, on their website, which are less than positive, That's very deceptive. .
After learning there's been litigation, regarding no less than 49 Piping Rock products containing LEAD, I do not feel safe consuming Dandelion Root capsules, nor any other supplement from Piping Rock. Beware of 'Good-Great Hurry Buy-Now Special Deals' at Piping Rock. (Like Gramma always said: "If it seems too good to be true, IT IS!")."
