"Fair company. I successfully bid on an Olympus Stylus 300 camera kit on Ebay, and followed their instructions to the letter - phoning them beforehand to confirm that I could bid on the item (I'm based in Canada, but shipped to a US address). The rep on the phone was good & answered all my questions. After winning the auction, the response was fast, and I again phoned to confirm the auction and shipping prices. A money order was sent via express mail, and the camera kit arrived approximately 2 weeks after they received the money order. I received shipping notification a week after my money order had been processed. Shipping option chosen was standard shipping. Total time from successful auction: about 3 weeks. The product arrived in perfect condition, exactly as advertised, and has been working fine now for a week. Only 2 small beefs: some poor clerk accidentally spelled my name wrong on the invoice, which made for an amusing interchange with the Canadian customs officers when I declared my camera kit coming back over the border. The other beef is that the Ebay feedback seems to be a little slow - I'd appreciate if feedback was left for me as a buyer as well. (UPDATE 14/06/03: never mind that last comment - right after this feedback review was displayed, I got my feedback rating as well!) Otherwise, "Priceitwholesale" has been a fair seller, and I'd be glad to do business again with them - they're a fair company that does business honestly and fairly efficiently."

"I'm going to start off by saying "What a GREAT company do deal with!". I can admit i was a little skeptical to deal with this company, seeing the other reviews posted, but BOY ARE THEY WRONG! I was abosolutely BLOWN AWAY by the coutesy and professionalism that Priceitwholesale have given me.

After much consideration, I decided to purchase a Sony DCR-TRV18 camcorder. I was originally going to head to my local retail store for my purchase, but instead turned to eBay so see what deals i could turn up. Well, I found Priceitwholesale's auction, and i was AMAZED! I could get the TRV18 AND a full accessory kit from priceitwholesale than the camera alone at my local retailer! What a BARGAIN!

Immediately after the auction ended, i recieved an e-mail with instructions on how to complete my purchase. I mean, this e-mail was in my inbox within SECONDS of the auction end. I prompty called the 1-800 number that was provided.

Their customer service representatives were INCREDIBLE! Not only were they friendly and courteous, but they answered my call within seconds of me dailing their 1-800 number. I believe the representatives name was Joe. Anyway, he helped me configure an accessory kit that fits my needs. I addeded a 128MB memory stick and an extended warranty to my eBay purchase.

Only 3 Days after providing them with my credit card information, guess what shows up at my front door?? You wouldn't believe it!!! THE PACKAGE!! I expected the run around from this company like "Ohh...uh...it's on backorder", but no! Just 3 days after my purchase i had the item in my hands!

Needless to say, I have told all my friends and family about the great service i recieved from Priceitwholesale!

Ohh, and a really funny story came from all of this:
My Uncle recently purchased a digital camera (an Olympus D-550) off of another eBay seller, i beileve their name was 45th St. Photo (or something like that). Anyway, after the eBay purchase we find out that this company had my uncle's camera on backorder. After telling Ted (ohh, that's my uncle's name) about MY recent experience with priceitwholesale, he decided to call priceitwholesale himself to try and order a D-550. Well, not only did THEY have the camera in stock, but they also included a 128mb smartmedia card for the EXACT SAME PRICE as 45th St. photo offered him.

Not suprisingly, my uncle ordered the camera and he recieved it within 3 business days. Later on that week, my uncle ted recieved a phone call from 45th St. photo informing him that the camera is now in stock and they will be shipping it out to him the next day. Well, Ted had to cancel his order with 45th St photo because he already had his camera in hand from Priceitwholesale! "

APRIL 22 - Called in credit card info. They told me the order will take 5-7 days to process.
APRIL 23-24 - Tried to call in but store is closed!
APRIL 25 - Asked about shipping method. He promised me 3-Day select and item should ship out Apr 28 (6 days from payment).
APRIL 28 - Called to find out item status. They tell me they're backed-up, will ship out tomorrow. 3-day UPS now "depends on where you live." Takes my name & item number down and says, "...I'll get you updated." **NEVER CONTACTED ME!**
APRIL 30 - Called again to find out status. They told me it should ship today. Takes my name, phone number, item number, and says, "I'll have customer service give you a ring." **NEVER CONTACTED ME!**
MAY 1 - Called to ask about status again. They said, "It should be shipping out today." I asked why it took soo long and he said he doesn't know because the people down in shipping are not there. I finally received an e-mail confirmation of shipment later that day.
The item is scheduled to arrive on May 6. That's 2 weeks from payment! Why couldn't they just answer a simple question and call back? Is it asking too much? I also wanted to negotiate the shipping because $49.95 is a bit much. But of course, shipping was NOT negotiable. Told me I don't have to buy this if I don't wanna. What a great way to do business. My advice: stay away. "

"EXTREMELY RUDE and a waste of time. Charged $60 shipping and paid via paypal. Took 5 days to even get the item out their door, then shipped UPS ground and stil ahve not recieved the item. Called 5 times so far and talk to people who redirect me to voicemail. Emailed and told me to call them. WHAT A RUN AROUND. How can you possibly do business like this?"

"Beware! These people are the rudest NYJ's out there. Don't let good prices lure you in. There order processing time is very long. Customer service people are the rudest in the industry. And they will tell you what you want on the phone and do something else from the other end. If you buy on eBay beware of the accessories. The are cheep and very over priced. In my case a CF card was said to be High Speed. Test showed different. If you do buy call everyday and they will process your order just to get rid of you. "

"March 9th 2003. This company sells via EBay. I purchased an Olympus C5050 digicam on Feb 25th using the 'Buy Now' option, called in my Discover card the next day. My credit card bill shows that I was billed on the day that I called in the card number. Twelve days later I still have no idea where the camera is. I have called twice and was told that it was drop shipped and they couldn't give me any tracking information.
The EBay Feedback system is being compromised by this company who up front say that they will automatically post negative feedback to anyone posting negative feedback on them, justified or not. Check out their feedback and see the number of positive or neutral feeback entries containing complaints about shipping... there's a lot. "
