"I recently purchased 4K Solid Yellow Gold Solid Rope Chain Necklace 2mm thick 20 Inches from Pricerock. I have no complaints about the appearance or quality of the chain. However, the webpage describes this chain as having an approximate weight of 7.4 grams. The chain i received weighs only 6 grams. When i inquired about the difference, their only explanation was that "they do not sell their chains by weight". Okay, but gold is sold by purity and weight, and the difference in weight amounts to approximately $65 difference using current scrap gold prices. To their credit, they told me i am free to return the chain if im not satisfied with the purchase."
