"WARNING - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I bought a Tamron lens through this company in March on-line. They wouldn't put the order through until I called them , and then they tried to sell me filters before they would release the order. The lens never came and they charged my credit card. When I called them about this they put me on hold. I tried several times and as soon as I said I didn't get my lens they would put me on hold again, and never answer. I made many more attempts to get someone to talk to me about this situation and when I finally was able to talk to someone they said they sent it out and gave me a phony US postal return receipt number. I tried several more times and when I finally got another person they said they would send it FED-Ex and I would get in a few days. It has been 5 weeks and I never received the lens. I reported them to my credit card company because they still had my money and I am now fighting to get my money back. BEWARE- BEWARE-BEWARE"

"...yeah, like others I should take a little more time to read all those negative reviews to understand much better, how to decide to buy a Camera 5D Mark II, at the better price. Yes, I've decided to place an order with this guys, to get the camera in 3 business days, but unfortunately was not happen.....just one week pass over, and I just spoke with a man who informed me, the camera is not going to arrive until next week , wednesday. So, what can I say ? it is impossible to do business online like this.....that is so sad....I'm, not happy are all ! Those guys, must be change they business or go in other country...."

" I was looking around for a Nikon D90 digital slr camera I found Primocameras on 1 of the price comparison shopping sites and they had the camera for a great price compare to other companies I saw. I checked their reviews before I purchases and they seemed to be pretty good so I decided to give them a shot.
I called them up spoke to a salesman named Brian he seemed very knowledgeable and extremely nice he answered all my questions on the camera and took down my order and said he will email me a confirmation of the order by email once we hang up and I will get a tracking # in the email in 3-4 days once it ships. I did receive a confirmation email but it was towards the end of the day but to my surprise it had the tracking # in there even though the salesman said I would get the tracking # in 3-4 days. I tracked and it was scheduled to be delivered to me earlier then the salesman promised. To finalize my experience I got the camera I wanted at a GREAT price and with an outstanding service that you won't find anywhere else. Thank you primocameras I will definitely recommend you to my friends and colleagues.

"I orderd an Olympus e-620 camera body yesterday from Primocameras. I got a phone call today as I was going out the door. The web site says free shipping. It also says free with purchase you get the following items at no additional charge. Case, tripod, memory wallet, screen protector and lens cleaning kit. In addition I would recieve a CF 2 GB memory card for free also. The caller, I believe his name was Victor asked if I needed any accessories and I told him no. He then asked if I wanted the items I listed above and I said yes. He said that would be $20.00 shipping. I said I would not pay for any shipping since they advertise free shipping. He said he would throw in the CF card for free. He then said it sounds like you have everything you need and won't need accessories. Since I was in a hurry and thought he was talking about the above Items I said yes and ended the conversation. Now that I have had time to think about I believe he was talking about the items that are part of the Olympus package that come with every camera. I will be calling tomorrow and talk to a supervisor. If they are not going to ship all that is promised I will cancel my order. I will update this review after I have talked to them.
UPDATE-I called today and talked to a manager. He assured me I would get all accessories as promised and there would be no shipping charge. Guess I will have to wait and see. NEW UPDATE-I called customer service on March 22 to find out where my order was. Previously they had told it shipped on March 10 via USPS. I asked them to give me a tracking number since they had failed my previous requests. They E-mail me a USPS tracking number, but USPS had no record of the number. On March 23 I recieved an E-mail that my order had been shipped via FedEx over night. I just recieved my order today March 24 after waiting over 2 weeks. Everything was as ordered, but I would not reccomend this retailer do to the poor customer service. Next thime I will pay the extra $30 and get my camera equipment from a name retailer.

"I placed my order on 2/20/10 for Canon T1i. 4 Days later, sales guy called me if I wanted me to buy additional accessories. So I bought a package since it sounded like a good deal. My card is charged in 26th and shipped on 3/4/10. It took over 2 weeks for this thing to get shipped. They never reply to my emails and they hardly pick up their phone. Price is good but DON'T EXPECT SAME SERVICE AS OTHER ONLINE STORES."

"I had a terribly difficult time getting my canon t1i that I ordered from primo cameras. Like others have said they try to sell you other promotions the next day which isn't a problem, but the price on my bill was $30 more than they guaranteed. Also, I was told it would ship in 7-9 days for free which I was totally fine with, but they didn't mention that there was a processing time that took 2 weeks even though I was told by an employee that it would be immediate. Once I actually received my products, I realized they didn't include half the things on my bill (tripod/extra battery/etc..) so the moral of the story is try somewhere else. "

"Purchased a Sigma Telephoto lens from Primo Cameras as their price was significantly lower than virtually all other sites. The upside is that they delivered the product in the condition and time frame as advertised. On the downside, a salesman called immediately after I placed the order with a "hard sell" of some accessories. Additionally, their staff (and website) provided incorrect tracking status by stating the item would be "drop shipped" from a California warehouse by US mail, when, in fact it actually came FEDEX express from their main location in Edison NJ (which was much better). I did subsequently receive an email from Primo w/ the FEDEX tracking number. I would definitely order from this vendor again despite these minor inconveniences."

"I called to see if they had a Canon SX20 IS in stock, and was told that they did, but I should order it online to get the free extras.I did that and received an email confirming the order and saying they would notify me when it was shipped. A week later I hadn't heard and called. I was told that by the time my order was processed, it was out of stock, but they had it in stock NOW, and would ship it expedited so that I would have it on February 5th. I had talked to Victor in customer service on Monday the 1st to verify that it had been sent. NO camera arrived on the 5th. and I called them on Feb. 7th. Now I was told that it was back ordered and they would probably receive more in about a week and a half. I asked them why they had lied to me, and was told that they didn't know why someone said it was sent. They apologized for any inconvenience. I cancelled the order after having wasted 16 days! BEWARE: they still have this camera listed as "in stock" at a lower price than competitors. They do not allow customers to track shipping, so you have no way of knowing, short of calling (and being put on hold for 20 minutes). They told me they had been in business for 15 years! It seems a strange way to choose to do business and a lot more hassle on both ends."

"I shopped around for quite sometime for a Canon Rebel XSi. I originally placed an order with Digital Hawks. All you see in the reviews is true. After calling them twice and verifying that they had the camera in stock, I placed the order. When I got the email to call them to verify it, they tried selling me some other stuff. I told them I didn't need anything extra, and INSTANTLY my order status on the website changed to backorder. Called again, they told me it would take 6 to 8 weeks. I canceled my order. Then I tried Stop and Shop Digital, same story. I finally ran into Primo Cameras. Reading the reviews I had mixed feelings but still gave it a try. I placed my order on Jan 26th. The following morning I got an email from them with my order number followed by a phone call to verify it. I spoke to Victor. He was very nice on the phone. Suggested for me to buy an extra battery, and I told him I didn't need to buy anything extra since my girlfriend is a photographer and she was giving me all the stuff. He quickly said "No problem, I will process you order and you should be receiving it by Wednesday." It sounded too good to be true after the two horrible experiences I had with the other two vendors. By Thursday 28th, I had an email with the FedEx tracking number and a Tuesday delivery. Following the tracking on the FedEx website, I realized it was already at their facility by Saturday. I called to pick it up myself, they put a hold for delivery and Monday morning (Feb 1st) I picked up my Canon XSi. Been playing with it since yesterday and I love it.
I am VERY satisfied with Primo Cameras. The XSi I received is brand new and it's USA (for warranty purposes). I totally recommend this vendor as they were professional, super fast, and did everything as promised. I even got a 3 year extended warranty (I got it myself when I placed the order, not because they tried to sell it to me) and even with this, including 3 day air shipping still paid less than what I would have paid anywhere else.
