"The worst online purchase experience of my life. Found a great price for the Nikon D600 and despite all the reviews warning of a shady company I went forward with the purchase. I had been warned of their bait and switch tactics but was prepared for them. The Web page of primotronix made no mention of a "Import model", however I was informed over the phone that I had gotten the import model and that the "retail" model was about $500 more. The page said up 7-9 days for delivery. the phone call said 2-3 weeks. I never received any sort of confirmation of my order, but I took pictures of the screens as I went through the ordering process. I told the guy over the phone I would wait for my "Import" model. After 3 weeks and no word I called in to find that they said the cameras never came in and that I would just have to wait. There was now no ETA of any kind. I waited another week and called for an update. Nothing. I called a week after that a finally gave up. The guy who cancelled it didn't ask anything when I said I was fed up with all the lies the company had been telling me from day one. He just said, "your order has been cancelled." No surprise really. Every time I had called to check on my orders status the associate on the phone offered to cancel it for me like that was some sort of favor. I will never trust this site again. All the horror stories are one-hundred percent accurate. What a crappy way to do business. To buy something in good faith on a site that even claims 100% satisfaction guaranteed and have this kind of experience is disgusting. Guy who cancelled my order didn't make a peep when I mentioned the guarantee either. Amazingly Bad. Stay Away. I think its hilarious that all the 5 out of 5 reviews on here are one liners. I don't think this company is above falsifying reviews, but they do seem lazy about it."

"ok. back to where I was (I changed my review inbetween), here is my story, which took place over a period of nearly 3 month by know: you order - they tell you, you have to call them back to confirm ... they try to sell you more ... if you don't order more ... they tell you, your order is on the way, but nothing happens for 2 weeks - they don't deliver nor write emails ... you call again and ask, what is going on? They tell you it is backordered and needs about 3 weeks more to deliver ... you write a 1-star review (because you don't belief that backordered-story, had that already once with another store) ... they make you a deal and promise to order it somewhere else, so that you have it sooner ... you change you review ... they still don't deliver ... you ask again (by now you have an email to write to at least) ... they say sorry, promise to send you gifts (which never arrived) to keep you a "happy customer" ... still nothing on your order ... you get mad and write again ... after asking twice, finally they send you the FedEx tracking number ... you get your package (7 weeks after ordering, they say 5 to 10 business days on their webside) ... and you receive a damaged box with an unwrapped, scratched camera, which is 150% not new! ... you call again (they threw me out of the line twice) ... got your return label and since 2 weeks (after FedEx delivered the package at their address) I'm waiting for the money to be refunded. Never, ever again! Even they were always nice at the phone/in mails, they never ever kept their promises. Which kind of costumer policy is that?
Next time I cancel my order if somebody makes me calling them back after I ordered. In Germany shops like that would be grilled by costumer protection organisations and in puplic tv."
