"I found the camera I wanted for a great price and was hesitant to order through Primotronix, but decided the price was worth it. I didn't receive an email confirmation of my order, so I followed up with a phone call and got an answering machine. I received a call about a week later and they said they had the wrong zip code and needed to confirm the correct one. I called again in about a week to check on order and again got an answering machine. When they called back, they said the silver I ordered was no longer available, but I could get a black one for the same price. I expressed my frustration at the fact that it took them over two weeks to let me know this, but I did agree to take the black one. I finally received the camera I ordered (silver, by the way) about 4 weeks after ordering. The manufacturer's box appeared a bit beat-up, but everything inside was wrapped/sealed. It appeared to be brand new, which is what the offer stated. I've had it for 2 months now and love the camera. No problems!

Overall, if you want quick shipping and ease of service, I would go elsewhere. If you want a great deal and can say no to their offer of buying an extra battery (which is obviously where they make their money....(they sell a spare for $100 and I can get one online for $10)....then give them a chance."

"Don't trust the reviews - they ask people to review them to boost their ratings (before customers receive the items). I bought two Canon lenses from them and they responded quickly with what appeared to be good customer service.

Then the lenses arrived and one of them was defective (an internal void in the glass). This lens didn't have a warranty card or the serial number on the box as is customary for Canon US lenses. Their website specifically stated "warranty card included" in the description of the lens. I've contacted them via email multiple times to arrange a return and...surprise, no answer! They have great customer service when trying to upsell you or convince you to give them positive reviews but just wait until you have problems and don't get what you thought you ordered.......

Guess it's time to request a chargeback from the credit card company. Maybe that will finally get their attention! "
