"Scam. Look up this company on the Better Business Bureau website and you will find that in the short time they have been open they have already 60+ complaints and an F rating with the BBB.
My experience was easily the worst buying experience I have ever had. Do not fall for their false and misleading advertising. You will not get a camera for the price they advertise."
"Primotronix has low prices, but don't order from them if you don't want to lose your money and get nothing in return. They informed me that an item would be shipped in the next 24-72 hours, then for 7 weeks I did not receive it, nor did I receive any shipping or tracking information. I made many calls and received many conflicting explanations from them. Finally after that time had expired they informed me that their overseas partner had shipped the item incorrectly, and they agreed to issue me a full refund on September 9. Over two weeks later, I had received no refund, and was compelled to follow up with the Better Business Bureau. They promised to issue a refund within 2 weeks, but did not do so. I called them and filed a *second* complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and they promised for a third time to issue a refund. It is now November 3 and they still have not issued a refund, holding my $800 hostage for over 3 months - it is increasingly evident that I will not recover my money unless I take them to court.
Primotronix provides support by phone, not by email or chat, their support hours are extremely limited (11am-5pm, Mon-Thu), and on one occasion I was on hold for over an hour. They were closed two of four Thursdays this month, further limiting their hours. They made me promises several times about providing shipping information by email and then never did. For about 3 weeks they claimed everything was proceeding normally. After that, they gave me contradictory messages about what was going on, ranging from a backorder (which they later denied) to a direct shipment from Japan (which I never authorized - I requested 7-10 day domestic shipping during checkout). After 5 weeks, they gave me a delivery date of September 5th, but the item never arrived.
They are extremely sensitive about negative reviews, once becoming angry with me about this one, and tried to bribe me with a 3-year warranty to change it. Later on, upon issuing me a refund, they said they would "make sure I was not charged a restocking fee" and that my refund would be "processed quickly" if I posted a "favorable review." I stick to my guns, and sure enough, months later, I have no refund. This is blackmail! This sinister manipulation of their online reputation makes me wonder how many other negative reviews they've made disappear.
Primotronix goes far beyond mere incompetence: they are untrustworthy, deeply immoral and manipulative, and quite possibly criminal. Forget you ever saw them."

"NEVER buy from primotronix.com! i bought a canon t3i and when i bought it they called me and told me i had to pay more then was advertised then they don't tell you you are buying a Japanese model with no batt or charger. the usa model is $80 more. i bought the camera over a month ago and its still not here! ive called them 4 times and had to be on hold for over 45 mins each time all they said was it takes a while to come from cannon. Over all i was VERY dissatisfied with my experience with primotronix.com i will never order anything from them again. "During May of 2013 I purchased a Canon EOS 60D Camera from the gentleman at Primotronix. First, the camera was every bit as good as was described to me. Secondly, the camera arrived very shortly after ordering it (I live in Washington).
This is the beginning of August, and I called Primotex, since it was the first time I had used the extended life battery, which was defective. Steve, the same gentleman who helped me the first time, said they would immediately send a new battery and I did not have to return to bad one ( it works, but only give a very few photos before depletion, and it was fully charged).
The customer service, and prompt attention to any difficulty is most impressive. Especially impressive is talking to Steve, who is unfailingly courteous and helpful, both with the original order as well as the follow up.
In short, I would not hesitate to purchase from Primotex in the future

"Don't purchase from this company. I ordered my camera on July 20th. it is August 5th and it still has not come. i called last week to at least get a tracking number. They said it was shipped from a panasonic dealer and were waiting for the tracking number to update. when it did, it would be emailed to me. I called yesterday and said I still did not have a tracking number. They said it would be emailed that day and that my camera would get to me by the end of the week. Still no email. I called to order a wholesale Canon 5D Mark III w/24-105 f4 lens listed at about $3200. The salesperson said it would take 3-4 weeks to ship, and up-sold me on a "US Retail" kit for $3900 and said they had them in stock and would ship in 3-4 DAYS. I could've gotten the same thing on Amazon in 2 days, but fine...whatever.
After talking to several customer service reps (Eric ext. 503, another guy named Reggie, and two more at ext. 506 & 301) it is now 22 shipping days later and still no camera.
Customer service rep Reggie apologized and offered a free memory card & filter kit and promised the camera would arrive that week.
It didn't. Each rep says the same thing - "It's already shipped through our Canon distributor and we'll have a tracking number for you ASAP".
My best guess is that they have NO or VERY FEW actual retail kits, and just batch process their China imported wholesale cameras and charge customers an extra $700 while stringing them along, & delaying the promised shipping process while they wait for their new stock to arrive.

They have horrible customer service department, you will sit on hold for 45 minutes trying to speak with someone and at the end they will hung up at you before they answer any questions. I ordered a Canon $800.00 camera a month ago and I have yet to receive the product or get a confirmation # for the FedEx delivery. Everyone that works there are big scammers. They keep on telling me that the order was shipped yet they can't provide me with the FedEx confirmation # so I can track the order. "I will never order from this company again. I ordered a camera from their website that said it would ship within a week as I wanted the camera for a trip I was going on. The camera never came and we never received any notification of delay. I tried calling the company multiple times but their customer service hours are non-existent and difficult to get through. Finally after 2 weeks (i've now completed the trip I wanted the camera for sans camera) I wrote an e-mail to customer service saying I had never received my camera and at this point that I didn't even want it anymore. I get a generic response saying my camera is now on the way (where had it been until now and why had no one even sent me any information regarding my camera is a mystery). My camera arrives 3 weeks late and then only has a 7 day return or exchange policy which is ridiculous. An exchange for a product that you are not happy with, especially electronics that take some time to figure out is ludicrous. It took me a little more than a week to figure out that there were features of my camera that I didn't like. Now i'm stuck with a camera that I'm not thrilled with and I didn't even have it for the purposes I wanted it for."
