"Five months after returning an item for warranty, they still say they are ‘looking into it’. It’s missing. They told me that it was being raised with DPD. DPD tell me that no issue has been raised with them. Who is being untruthful? Given the responses of Probikekit, I have no doubts."
"THEY ARE A SCAM!!!This is the most corrupt company I have ever purchased from and I will be making it my mission to ensure as many people as possible know. Ordered an item that was totally unsatisfactory, unsafe and would’ve damaged my $400 handlebars. Returned the item and paid $208 in shipping. It took 2 weeks to get reimbursed for 80% cost of the item and to add insult to injury, they had the audacity to refund me $31 on my shipping. "
"Ordered a 4iiii power meter at size 170mm. After weeks of waiting to receive my package, I finally received it. The box said 170mm on it and on the inside they sent me a 175mm power meter! So for some reason they swapped power meters and placed the wrong one in the correct box. Mind you, this is a brand new power meter I had ordered. They refuse to make it right and instead want me to pay for international shipping back to the UK from the USA. I’ll never order from them again."
"Worst customer service!
I ordered a pair of wheels with in-stock status but they only send one wheel. and now they told me to wait one month and are not sure the shipment day for the other. The way they reply is very rude and disrespectful, If I want to return the one wheel they sent they will charge the restocking fee. This will be my last time shopping at this company."
"Ordered bike shoes, had choice of black or white so on a coin flip I ordered black. When they came they where the wrong size. When I inquired they admitted that they made a mistake and said I could return them for refund and that I could reorder them in white because they no longer have my size in black. Here is the catch, the price for the white has now gone up considerably, I asked them to match the original price as it was their mistake they told me no and that if I wanted the shoes I would have to pay the higher price. Also they would not refund the duty I paid on the shipment. Last time I ever order from them, by the way probikekit.ca is not a Canadian website, products come from the UK on DHL and the duties are outrageous. Stay AWAY!!!!!"
"I'm having a terrible experience dealing with customer service after they shipped one wheel to my house in Utah and one wheel to Uraguay. They're terrible at getting back to you in a timely manner and they're having trouble confirming I even ordered from them. Maybe the person in Uraguay didn't order anything from them but if I didn't order from them, they're a disorganized disaster if they randomly mailed me a Zipp wheel for no reason."
"I bought a set of Zipp rims at ProBikeKit for September 29. On November 1st, I had to make a dispute with my credit card since they never sent me the products. After countless messages via the chat on their page, they just told me to wait. The worst thing is that FedEx told me that only the label had been created. They only told me a thousand versions of what was happening, to buy time, but nothing to resolve the matter in my favor. Be very careful when buying with this company. They have no way to call them, different service representatives answer you, they tell you countless things, but in the end the client loses. Another thing, they advertised like Pro Bike Kit (USA), everything you buy will be sent form UK. If you have to return something, you have to pay the return shipment to UK, beware!!!!
Thank God, Citi Visa resolved the matter in my favor..."
"Order placed Sept 6th, Shipped Sept 7th, Arrival Oct. 20th. If I was ordering from China, I would expect this, but I would expect better from a website with a .ca ending.
In addition, with an order of $210 I had to pay another $35 in duties.
This was my worst experience ordering bike components and I have intentionally ordered from oversea websites with better results."
"Avoid this company! Bought 6 Michelin 25mm tires that actually measured less the 23mm wide on the rim. Contacted the company and asked for a return and they made me pay for the return from US to UK when they sold me tires they misrepresented in on their site and should pay return postage."
"Order Number 411472061: Pro Bike Kit are not delivering order and will not respond to customer update requests. Do not use this company. "
"I ordered a garmin on their Canadian website since i reside in Canada. The device was ordered from Spain and now i have to pay almost $100 CAD import duties. At no point on the website or in the order process does it mention its coming from outside Canada and there are import duties. I feel duped, i will never recommend or use them ever again. I could have bought it locally cheaper without a 16 day lead time. Do not do business with them!!!"
"Worst customer service ever! I ordered 3 tires, that they showed in stock, they sent one with no idea of when the other tires would be available. You cannot speak to a real person at ProBikeKit, only email back and forth that they take 48 hours to respond to every single time. They are charging me to return the one tire that was ordered even though they cannon complete my order. I have emailed back and forth twice a week for the past month trying to get this one tire returned. They do not even read my emails, they keep asking ridiculous questions like “how many tires do I have” even though they have my order and can see how many tires I have. Will never order a product from them again. In todays online shopping environment, antiquated sales sites with terrible customer service like this one have no place."
"I ordered a pair of Bont shoes. I had read the mixed reviews and thus did so with some trepidation. However I was very pleasantly surprised. The shoe cost was considerably less than anywhere else I could find them. I paid an extra $4.95 for faster shipping. I am in USA. I ordered them on the Friday before Easter and received them the Monday after Easter. The product was just as described. So I haven’t had any need to deal with customer service which seems to get poor reviews, I am very pleased and will order from Probikekit again. "
"Purchased an EVOC Bike Bag Pro. PBK was over $100 less than everyone else. They were advertising “ships within 2-3 days” with free 2-3 day expedited shipping. Despite the poor online reviews I decided to give them a shot and paid via PayPal. I had a DHL tracking number within 24 hours from the time I placed my order. The bag arrived exactly 7 days after placing my order, with final delivery being provided by USPS. Item arrived in perfect condition with adequate packaging. All items were included in the box, however, the instructions were for the precious year bag, making it look like it was missing some pieces and included extras of others. I contacted PBK via email and had a response within hours that this was the updated design and that I had the correct parts. I verified this through EVOC customer support and received the correct instructions. Thanks for the fast shipping, great prices and quick customer service. Would have given 5 stars if PBK would have emailed me the updated instructions. Would definitely recommend if you want to save some money. "
"Wow I really wish I read some of these reviews before making my purchase.. first of all I paid an extra $15 for the 1 day shipping. (After about 2 weeks they promised to return the $15 as it obviously wasn’t 1 day lol) I never got that money back.. finally after about a month I got my parts. In all fairness they were the correct parts. However one of the parts was a $600 dropper post. I ended up not using it as I ordered the incorrect sizing. I emailed to set up a return. Got responses faster than I’ve ever seen before from them… once the package was sent back to them I never heard from them again. I’ve emailed them about 5 times. I’ve DMed on Instagram because that seems the easiest way to reach someone… each time they apologized and say “ I will get a team member to look into this immediately” this company is so horribly put together it is almost sad. Not to mention they advertise to make it seem like they are located in the country you are from. For example I’m on Canada amd when I use the site they call it “pro bike canada” and use .ca. and then after you make the purchase you find out they’re actually located in the UK, and you’re about to be slapped with a $200 customs bill.
Please for the sake of your hard earned money do not use these guys. I promise it is worth spending the extra 10% at a different company."
