"We order one product from Pro-clip, and when the first one broke during normal use they were quick to replace it. When the second one broke within days of starting to use it, they rejected the replacement request saying it broke due to "misuse", which it didn't. Then a third one broke.... It is clearly a faulty product with a poorly made connection in the spot that it continues to break. I spoke with the COO who said because we are the only customer who has experienced this product breaking, it is clearly our fault. He was very rude and still refused to replace this faulty part. I asked if I could return the box of 20 remaining parts I had, since they are clearly not going to work for us if they keep breaking, and again he refused. Poor customer service, and they don't live up to their warranty. We are taking our business elsewhere. "

"I tried a cigarette lighter mount, my iPhone 7 (not the plus) would rotate the whole mount because of the weight and the movement of my car. Then I got a windshield mount - it said you could attach it to the dashboard or the windshield. I was skeptical about the dashboard, but tried it anyway. As I was backing out of my garage it fell off, so I put it on the windshield (with the phone resting on the dash) - went to the store, on my way back it fell off. Enter ProClip. More than I wanted to spend, but it came quickly, installed easily, I have been using it a week and it has been great. I will update this review if I have any problems, but the other two I mention - the problems cropped up in the first day. I was getting sick of trying mounts that didn't work. "I have used ProClip products for my last few cell phones and will continue to purchase them for every new device I need to mount in my vehicle. The vehicle specific mounting plate installs in just a few minutes and does not require any permanent modifications to my vehicle. The genius two part mounting solution allows me to swap out phone mounts from the dash affixed mounting plate that is specific to my vehicle at any time with just a screwdriver. I have used mounts that are made specifically for a device without a case (Nexus 6p) as well as the adjustable with universal mounts that hold a device in a case. The the universal mounts are also adjustable with just a screwdriver and allow you to set your desired width, allowing your device to be inserted and removed from the dock with ease.

Once installed, the mount holds devices securely and keeps them in view for convenient access to maps or music while driving without fumbling around for my device in the cup holder. The mount also swivels and pivots for getting the right angle in either portrait or landscape mode.

"Last week I got curious and started looking for ways to mount an iPad to a truck dash, so I just googled "iPad dash mount". After pages of worthless, tacky, bulky looking mounts I came across ProClip USA and their design. So simple, easy to install, and literally fantastic customer service. My setup was a bit different than most, so I didn't need to buy any of their swivel mounts or anything besides the clip itself, but they went ahead and sent me a free T-shirt and stickers anyways, as well as bumping my shipping up to priority from standard (two days quicker than original) for no reason. All I did was by the clip, apply some 3M tape to the flat front, and stick a $5 iPad plastic case to it, and now the iPad doesn't move. You can tell that the ProClip is made of very durable plastic, I'm more worried about the tape or case breaking than the clip. Other systems that do the exact same thing are much more expensive, and are way less attractive and efficient. Considering several of these for Christmas presents. "

"I know I've seen several threads and posts on sites and forums trying to find good quality phone holders for their cellphones for their trucks mainly Silverados and
Sierra's on this site. Well I spent about 3 days looking for one by sifting through all the other junk and cases and holders that I've seen and tried and failed I finally found one that is just totally awesome! This thing it's custom made for my phone and you can get them custom-made for other phones. They have them that are adjustable you can use them with your OtterBox cases rather it be a defender or commuter symmetry or any kind of other cases similar 2 Otterbox type of case. These things swivel and tilt
for any direction and the base actually snaps onto your front AC vent and a piece runs back and snaps in under your defroster vent and this thing is so tight and so that you can pull on it and it just won't move. I found this after looking for several hours and I finally stumbled upon ProclipUSA.com and got on there and looked around and ended up ordering this just to try it out to see if it was going to be a failure like everything else I've tried. Well it came about two days later pretty quick shipping and I put it together and I've been using it for about 5 days now and I've got mud tires on my truck and my truck's not the smoothest riding truck there is but I'll tell you what I put this phone in this holder turned it sideways turned on my WAZE GPS app and had to drive about 67 miles to a place I didn't know and this thing held my phone and perfect vision perfect angle didn't Shake didn't rattle didn't want to fall out and make no noise,it was just perfect.I finally found the type of clip I'm going to put in all my vehicles. I know this is a kind of long review but I wanted to tell you a couple other things about the holders, they also sell them that have built-in hard-wired Chargers that plug into your USB port for charging that when you slide your phone down into the holder that automatically connects to charge so the whole time you've got your phone in your phone holder it's charging so you never have to worry about hunting the plug and sticking it up in the bottom of the phone,it's already there these things are bad **** and I'm going to buy another one for my other truck my wife wants one as well so if you guys are looking for a really good phone holder for your vehicle go check them out at proclip usa.com and see if you can find what you're looking for and I promise if you do and get it get it installed you won't be disappointed I'm going to post a few pics of what it looks like below so you can kind of see. "I bought the full system with device holder and specific mount for the Center Mount Jeep Wrangler. After some time in the sun the plastics became brittle and broke off. After calling the customer service all they were willing to do is give 10% the purchase of the replacement mount which by the way I bought originally with a 10% Off.
Clearly they do not test for the high temps of a car environment and unwilling to replace such a simple piece. Its all about there new customer not their old customers. Stay away. Their only response was upper managment was unwilling to address as the manufacturer will not do anything. So clearly they are not the manufacturer."

"This company has more regressive marketing practices than any other retailer I've ever encountered. While I understand their logic, it is obvious that they capitalize a great deal on customers that get excited and screw the units together prematurely. I did not, but I'm still furious about this practice. Where is the affordable sticker in bright colors and large writing that warns the customer of this policy? its not there. It won't be there. It is tiny writing, and bordering predatory that they take advantage of this without real due diligence warning the customer. I'd love to see their books and see what effect this practice has on their revenues.

If they had compatibility info like they do for vehicles, this could be reduced. But they don't. It would not serve in their best short sighted interests. Whatever market share they lose in customers that would never take a rule or calipers to their device I guess they make up in second purchases. Because the poor suckers are already stuck with the mount. I get it that the product is good. But they don't even make it. Brodit does. Is this Brodit marketing policies?

The return policies are as draconian as any in the industry. It's shameful really. They should never have this many bad reviews for a good product. It is one of the most visible policy failures I've ever witnessed as a customer, and again, I didn't even have to suffer like others that were stuck and had to pay twice, but I've had to spend far too much time trying to buy a simple cell phone holder that I may return in the end. I feel as if I need to box it up in front of the postmaster, I hardly trust this outfit. The future is not bright for this company, they're leaving a lot of market share on the table. "

"I ordered a holder and a pedestal mount on 7/2 from proclipusa. On 7/5 I was told part of my order (the holder) was back-ordered and would ship in 5-7 business days. There was no mention of the item being out of stock or back-ordered when I ordered through the web site. A bit upsetting, but I will wait. 7 business days went by and on 7/15 since I was still waiting I changed part of my order. I changed from a 2 inch pedestal to a 4 inch, much, much more expensive, unreasonably expensive, but I thought it would suite my needs better so I was willing to pay the premium. They told me that expected ship date was 7/22. The same holder that was originally causing the wait was still back ordered until 7/22. That is 20 days after my original order for it to ship. 7/22 came and its still in back-ordered status. I contacted them through chat, the guys said they just got them in stock today and my order will ship today. Great News! Except, I get a call around 6 PM est, telling me that the guy in chat told me wrong and my stuff was still back-ordered. He said that it probably will not even be in stock this coming week, maybe next week. So I'm looking at a 30+ day ship time minimum now. What happened to 5-7 business days on a back-ordered item? - 7/26 I got an email response, they apologized for the internal miscommunication that caused them to tell me the incorrect time estimate and expedited my order immediately with free one day shipping. "Bought a console mount for my VW and it works exactly as it said it would. They definitely made an effort to get the dimensions correct so that the product is a good fit. It's sturdy after installation and the position is great for accessing google maps when driving. I emailed them about screws I needed for the face plate even though it probably doesn't come with it and they sent some to me within a couple of days. My experience with customer service has been nothing but great. I would definitely recommend Proclip to my friends and family."
