"Horrible placement since it sits down low and to the side of the center console. I still decided to try it out and regret my decision. I thought it would be okay once I installed it so I put the screws in with the mounting plate. Then I decided to sit int he passenger seat and regretted my decision. I'm 5'9" and skinny and my leg hit it...the thing is just in the way of the passenger. Worst part, I screwed holes into it so therefore I can't get a refund or credit. Avoid this product for the Nissan Maxima. I do have 2 other ProClip mounts for 2 other vehicles and those are part of the dashboard and make sense. This mount is HORRIBLE!"

"I just received my $66 ProClip for my iPhone 6 today and was looking forward to installing it on my Audi A5. The part for the Audi is glued together in two pieces and the pieces were not glued together straight, but I decided to go ahead and do the install anyway. The custom piece for the Audi clips into the right edge of the center console and seems to fit fairly well. There were two pieces of double-backed tape to help hold in in place once clipped in. Then I screwed the phone mount to the piece for the Audi. These pieces went together fine and was relatively happy with the purchase until I picked up a passenger.
What I didn't realize until after the passenger sat down is that the phone mount hangs out over the edge of the console and is in the way of passengers when they sit. Also, each time we got out of the car, his knees hit the mount. This seems like a terrible design flaw. I called ProClip to request a refund for the reasons stated above, but they don't take returns on products that have been screwed together, regardless of reason. It sure would have been nice to know this upfront. For $66 they should have a much better product and return policy.
So, my message to potential buyers is to note the very strict RETURN POLICY of ProClip and be sure you want this before you buy and/or instal it. Once installed they consider it USED and won't take it back. Between, the somewhat shoddy glueing, the design flaw in the product I received, and their return policy I can't recommend this product or company.
Incidentally, the rep told me to go sell it on eBay. He said, "Other customers have had success with that.""

We encourage our customers to take the products out of the packaging and test fit the mount to the dash BEFORE attaching the device holder to the face of the mount. However IF the device holder is screwed to the face of the Vehicle Mount it is considered USED and not eligible for resale to another customer.
Question: Would you like to receive a mount or any product from any company that has been clearly used?
We do not and will not send used product to customers so for that reason once a Vehicle Mount has been screwed into we cannot take it back for refund or exchange.
Once a Vehicle Mount has been test fitted to the dashboard we ask that the customer holds the Device Holder up to the mount to help make the final decision to KEEP or RETURN the product.

"Very expensive products that are cheaply made and break under normal wear and tear. They collect sales tax (although they have no store in MA) and charge $15 for ground shipping. When all is said and done, you're paying $75 for an iPhone mount. I'm happy to pay for a quality product but I have purchased TWO of their craptastic mounts (for iPhone 5 & 6 plus) and both broke from normal use just days after the 1 year warranty ended. Owner Don and salesman Ruben were arrogant, rude and unwilling to do anything to resolve the problem.
So many better options from superior companies. I will never purchase from these hacks again."

We collected tax in over 32 states for years due to a Manufacture Rep program we had that made ProClip have a nexus presence in tax collected states. This fact was conveyed to you over the phone. (Our rep program has since ended for 2016)
At the time of your purchase FedEx Ground shipping was $8.50 for a vehicle mount and device holder. IF you ordered more than 4 parts the shipping price would increase by $1.00 to $4.00 depending on the parts ordered.
In most cases we honor warranty replacement requests long after the 1 Year Manufacture warranty has passed however if we feel that a customer has misused or abused the products we will not honor a warranty claim after the 1 Year Manufacture Warranty period is up.

"I ordered an iPhone 6 mount for my E46 BMW, and during installation the small piece on the rear of the mount broke off. I took a picture and sent it to ProClip and they immediately sent me a new one, free of charge. it took about 2 days. I was extra careful installing it and now it's perfect. I've used many mounts in the past and this is the best by far. I'm very happy with the customer service and fast turnaround."
"I love the idea of this mount but the main component is a thin piece of plastic that is wedged between the crack of the dashboard/media center area. Over time, the plastic stresses (possibly due to weather - expansion/contraction), becomes brittle and breaks.
I am on my 3rd mount! ProClip USA tech support is apologetic each time but quick to spout out that it'll cost me full price for a replacement base - another $29.99 US! On top of close to $100 paid for the other portion of the mount. Cha-CHING!!
I went to eBay and purchased my most recent replacement (2nd base) for $15, half of what ProClip charges, but once again, this base broke during installation. ProClip USA reiterated what they've said in the past, "sorry, but you purchased from an unauthorized reseller (like it really matters) and you'll have to pay full price for a replacement base."
I don't know about you but fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Unfortunately, it's time to look for a solution that actually works - sans 'glitz' for functionality.
When a company ignores engineering defects to the detriment of their client base, this creates opportunities for knock-off companies to exploit and eventually replace such technologies/companies.
For example, this critical component could and should be made out of metal, and sold for $5. As it is the base for most vehicles, a whole new business could develop from this simple yet elegant solution. I suggested the same to ProClip but they feel their solution is working just fine. I think it's more about the Cha-CHING of exploiting an engineering defect - at their clients' expense..."
"Pro Clip customer service leaves alot to be desired. I bought a clip for my vehicle for my iphone and just did not like it. I sent it back a day later for a refund and I get an email weeks later stating that my refund is not granted because it was used. It was in mint condition. The email they sent me also ask me if I wanted them just to discard it. Why would I do this so they can sell it again?? Beware when purchasing from this company because if you are not happy with what you order you are stuck with it unless you want to mail it back to them for them to throw it away!! What a joke!!"

"I should have researched here before ordering from ProClip. On Sunday 4/29/2012 at 10:55 am I ordered a vehicle mount and adjustable iPhone 4s holder that's compatible with my Otterbox Defender case. It was a little pricey, especially the vehicle mount which is a $1.50 piece of plastic apparently manufactured in Sweden. The holder is another story, it's fairly complex, $39.99 isn't terrible.
On Monday, 4/30/2012 at 6:43 pm I get an email from ProClip saying my order is back-ordered. Wait, it was in stock when I ordered it. It should of said "out of stock" or "1-2 day wait" or whatever. So I try to call. Of course when I get the e-mail they are closed so you can't call.
Tuesday (posting date), 5/1/2012 at 9:30 am I call ProClip. I get a guy who just sounds so happy to be at work (Sarcasm). Actually, he sounded like he hated his job and was probably hung over. He basically didn't care, didn't know anything and his "manager" was unfortunately away at a trade-show this week. How convenient. He wouldn't expedite shipping nor was he able to tell me when the item will be in stock. He then stated "we get daily updates from the manufacturer" and then when I asked to get a hold of the manufacturer and ask them about the mount he contradicted himself and said "Well, they are in Sweden so we may not get a response till tomorrow".
I called exactly when their business opened, they get daily updates. They won't know till tomorrow? I told them I wanted a call back today at 4:00 pm their time (5:00 pm my time) or I would cancel the order.
I will update as proceeding, but so far - they are crap to order from."

"Ordered two sets of the Pro Clips. One for our Camry and one for our F150. Installed them today.
Both sets fit into the panels well. Everything lined up well as far as screws/fittings on the F150 clip. The Camry was another matter. I had to drill out the holes to mount the phone bracket to the dash mount. They didn't line up and were too small for the bolts to pass through. As for the two very small holes to attach the phone mount to the shim for the vehicle mount, one hole was not drilled all the way through.
I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning the Camry mount as I could make it work, But at this price point for a couple of pieces of ABS/plastic, I shouldn't have had to hassle with it. "
