"While doing a dream re-hab of my kitchen, I was ready to order a $2500 hood from a well-known brand in Texas, but found ProLineRH, and ordered equivalent hood for 1/3 the price, with higher exhaust power. Free shipping, no tax, and Customer Service was excellent, especially Heather. My hood is venting for a BlueStar range and have yet needed to operate at highest exhaust speed. I recommend this product with no hesitation, and am not being paid either. Go elsewhere, pay more and get less."
"Unlike a few of the latest entries I've had a good experience with Proline and the hood I purchased has performed great. I normally don't leave review but their email offer to leave a review for a gift card was too good to pass up. We ordered back in August of 2011 and received the hood pretty quickly, within a week or so. They didn't originally include the charcoal filters we ordered so I called customer service and they were very prompt and helpful. I would recommend them and use them again should the need arise."
"I ordered a cylindrical range hood from ProLine on March 11 for an upcoming renovation in a new loft. The hood was shipped and was to arrive within a week. I received a call about 10 days later stating the hood had been returned to ProLine as it had been damaged in shipping. Also, the hood I ordered was the last one and no longer in stock.
Cheryl was very helpful in helping me pick another style which I ordered instead and even received a small credit for the difference.
When the new hood arrived we had it in storage for a couple of months until our kitchen was installed. When I opened the box, the glass was missing from the hood and no charcoal filters had been sent. We didn't mind the look of the unit without the glass and were very accommodating asking not to worry about the glass but to please send the filters as soon as possible since our hood does not vent to the outside.
I called back two weeks later and the filters hadn't been sent. Customer service again said they would send them out and I received them a week later. Unfortunately, they were the wrong filters. Another call, another promise to send replacements, some back and forth and again I received the wrong filters.
The last phone call I made to ProLine came with a promise to send filters out immediately. That was two months ago and now no one is returning my calls nor my email!!
I was happy with the look of the hood and wasn't too worried about how loud it is, nor how difficult it was to install. I would have been a happy customer but it seems like they decided to leave me with a useless range hood that I can't find filters for. Regardless of the situation, I have been very polite and understanding that these things happen. Why they've decided to just write me off is really beyond me.
My next step will be to contact the Better Business Bureau to see if they can get ProLine to supply filters or return the range hood.

"Would never recommend to a friend! Hood is beautiful to look at but the quality is cheap!!! Buttons make loud clicking noises when hood is turned on. There was a huge black mark (about 12 inches encompassing two sides) on the chimney. We thought there was plastic over it so we didn't think too much about it but when we peeled off the layer of plastic, the mark was actually on the hood!
We called customer service during the install and the original person didn't know what she was doing and the second person was just plain rude. Spend your money somewhere else!"
"I really appreciate the prompt service I have received from Proline. My range hood came in within a week. Then, when we realized it was missing a light compenent, I called their customer service, and within 2 days it was here. That is wonderful service! My contractor will be back tomorrow to install the light and continue my remodeling -- I bet he too will be surprised on how quickly it arrived. I think I'm going to enjoy using my new Proline Range Hood. It sure sounds powerful and looks really sharp.

"I had a really good experience with them. I accidentally ordered the wrong size but they still paid the return shipping and paid to ship out another one. I am totally happy with them and they even went the extra mile for me. The hood is really well made, too and it was a lot less than the same hood made by Viking. I don't know what other peoples' problem is, they must just be kind of dumb because I was always able to get a hold of them and they helped me out as much as they could. I imagine the other problems people had was due to their own personal screw ups when ordering or them being jerks because the people at Pro Line Range Hoods were super nice and helpful to me. "

Ordered the unit, installed it and it works great so far.
From start to finish the whole process took less than 1 week including shipping and I was able to install the unit myself without any problems.

Hood arrived damaged. Company will not respond. Have filed with Credit Card Company as well as the BBB.

Ordered a hood in late Dec '10. Was told it would be in by 31 Dec. After three weeks I called and they said the hoods were not in the container shipment and that they had been guaranteed it would be in the NEXT container shipment in early Feb. Well, it is early Feb and you guessed it - the container did not have the 34"inch hoods. So I am now faced with waiting yet another month, or buying another hood and rebuilding the hood cabinet. Oh- by the way - they did charge the credit card already - Will update this by end of Feb. "
"Super fast delivery on "in stock" items for sure. I did have an issue with the product initially (bound to happen every now and then) Customer service stepped up and took care of the issue. I will use them again knowing if there is a problem, I will get taken care of quickly.. A+"
