"Had an accident, called them, they told me everything was covered, but today they told me they won’t cover even the towing. We made decisions based on their promises. Do not trust them! Also, their support people are arrogant. Horrible experience. "

"Make sure that your preferred method of contact is actually what you want - I didn't realize mine was electronic therefore I missed notification of progressive adding additional drivers to my policy - I did not respond to it causing my premium to increase $300+. I canceled policy roughly a month after getting it & now I owe a balance over $500+, called & spoke to underwriting - unable to resolve issue.. Damn modern day crooks, it's all about money I guess :("

"No reason for the increase so i called them. I had priced my same policy with another company and given a much better price. I called to cancel the progressive policy and get my refund. I pay in full every 6 months.
They convinced me to stay by reducing the price of my new policy immediately. The rep told me she would refund my money immediately then charge me for the new policy they had to create.
Instead they drained my check book for the new policy immediately and now im told i have to wait at least a week for my refund to be deposited into the same account.
The representative lied!
