"RAM Electronics had the legacy SCSI adapter I needed (SCSI cable to SCSI-2 device) when it was either "unavailable" or unlisted on other sites Googled for "SCSI adapter". I found it quickly on the RAM web site and the price turned out to be gratifyingly low vs. other comparably hard-to-find SCSI items on other sites. Checkout was very fast and shipping was minimum USPS, ~75% of that for comparable items on Amazon with no compromise on delivery time. I definitely recommend giving RAM Electronics a look."

"I placed an online order on April 24th, then called the customer service three days later to find out about the status of my order. The customer service told me that they can only ship 8 of the 10 plugs I ordered, and the rest will be shipped on April 30. I said fine.
The next day I got the following email from them:
"**Dear Customer:
Thank you for choosing RAM Electronics! We appreciate your business and hope that you will choose us again. Our apologies for this inconvenience but part # RF2PBGG is currently on backorder until 4-30-10. Thank you,

And my response to this email was:
"Hi,
This backorder information should have been disclosed on your website BEFORE or DURING the sale. You not only failed to let your customers know that you do not have the item in stock, you also waited four days after the sale to notify me that this item is in backorder status until 4-30-10. I will certainly not choose you again, among the dozens of other online vendors, and will leave an appropriate feedback regarding your business practices. At this point, send me the eight plugs that your customer service said you have in your inventory today, and send the remaining two on 4-30-10. Also please notify me when the items are shipped.
Thank you,"
Their response was:
"Good morning,
I spoke with you the other day and let you know that we could ship this order partial. Unfortunately, our system was reflecting a quantity that we did not have. We have since adjusted this computer error. With that said, part # RF2PBGG will not be into our facility until the end of next week -
Would like to wait for the backorder?"
Waddaya kidding me?? You even don't know if the stuff you sell online is in your inventory or not. After receiving the order , you wait until the customer contacts you before you let them know that our item(s) are on backorder, then you change the shipment date 3 times in 2 days, to top it off you add insult to injury by take us customers as idiots as if we are naive enough to believe that all this is a result of an computer error that's already been fixed.???
If there was any error made, it was mine not reading the online customer reviews before I placed my order. Needless to say, this order has been cancelled."

I was given an email, imediatly letting me know there system received my order and another, with tracking info, when they shipped. "Horrible company! I placed an order for a Channel Master 7777 on Oct 26. I didn't hear back from them so 8 days later I called for the status and was told it wouldn't ship for another 10 days. I canceled the order, placed it with another company and had it in 3 days. I would suggest anybody other than these people. Low prices don't mean a thing if they don't have it in stock. "

"I purchased two cables bright and early on a Monday morning. The website claimed both cables were in stock and ready to ship. On Wednesday I called to check status, the rep told me that the items were on back-order and would ship Thursday, waited and still no shipment details the next day. Called again and they told me it would ship today. No communication whatsoever, which is very frustrating. Cable finally shipped on Friday, five days later. Product arrived as described and the quality looks good. "
"To follow up, after phoning RAM Electronics 3 days in a row and being told that the item had shipped (when it didn't), I was finally told the item didn't ship. I was annoyed at the lying, so I cancelled the order. They confirmed the cancellation. I then found out that they had charged my credit card days before, and to make things worse, they shipped the item to me AFTER I had cancelled and already placed an order from another online source for the same thing.
For the record, they did credit my credit card account immediately."
