"I received the original part quickly, however, upon inspection found that there were 2 right side pieces instead of a right and left. I called Reesehitches and they said they would either send a replacement or have the manufacturer send one. Had to call a 2nd time and got was told the manufacturer would be sending me the correct part and give me a tracking number. Still have NO information. "

"The truck I installed the hitch on, had 2 pieces of metal welded on the frame. I had to grind these off in order to get the hitch to fit properly. You might want to check the mounting surfaces closely before starting your installation."

"When I received my hitch I noticed that the some of the welds has porosity which makes for a weak weld so I fixed them myself being a welder and when I tried to put my pin through the hitch it wouldn’t fit because when someone welded it factory (the weld was painted that’s how I know) they accidentally left a tack inside the hole for my receiver and it wouldn’t take the pin so I had to drill out the hole so I could use my hitch moral of the story poor welding job"

"Patricia R. was outstanding. The torsion was less than 4 years old and broke at the tip when being used. We called the main company Horizon Global, (they own Reese) and sent photos at their request. For 6 weeks they did nothing. We called Reese Hitches and Patricia R stepped up to help. For 10+ days. she too received no response from the Horizon Global. As I needed the replacement, regardless of warranty or not. She shipped on express(ish) mail, discounted the price, and covered the postage. Reese Hitches get 5 stars..... Horizon Global gets ZERO. Are they going broke or is the customer services really that bad at HG???? "

In your order, you specified that you were ordering for a 2019 RAV4 and we sent a hitch for that vehicle. Unfortunately, you needed a hitch for a 2018 RAV4 and that is a different part. We shipped what you told us you needed, and we didn't charge you any freight. We feel that it is fair that if we do not may a mistake, we ask you to pay for the shipping on the return. These terms are clearly stated on the website and on the e-mailed receipt. Please let us know if there are any more questions we can help you with. ”
