"Most of my vehicles have been used and came with reese hitches. Of the two cars that didn't, I purchased.
This is the first one I bought brand new and I was greatly surprised how quickly it arrived. Ordered it on 9/2/15 and it arrived approximately 4 days later. As of right now still trying to find a mechanic to install it for me."

"This hitch I ordered did arrive on time.
But when I tried to install it the Tommy gate was hitting it and it had to be cut down 1/4 on an inch to fit. This was supposed to be an exact fit for the 02 Silverado shortbed with a Tommy gate installed. So we had to modify it as I said . Very dissatisfied"

This product is designed to fit the truck as it was delivered from the factory. There is no way that we can know how to fit the hitch around other aftermarket accessories, especially other accessories around the rear of the truck.
We always encourage customer's to call us if there is any question about whether or not a hitch will fit a specific vehicle. We are happy to discuss fit before or after a sale.
Also, we always discourage modifying any hitch. Once the hitch is modified, we can no longer guarantee its performance or safety.
